Scene+ Program

So annoying as had already loaded it. I called the customer service line and the lady couldn't understand what I trying to tell her. I emailed her a screen shot of the offer, it showing loaded and my receipt. I just can't remember if the 500 points shows on the actual receipts for the digital offers. She said to wait 48 hours for it to go into my account. But it still says "Redeem three times", so not acknowledging I have used it once.
 
Disney gift cards on their site are a really lousy points per $ redemption.

$50 grocery gift cards are 5000 points
$50 Disney gift cards are 6700 points
Does the Disney gift card cost more because it is in US funds? 🤔 If so, that would be worth it for me!

The only way it is worth it is if you use the trick I described here:

If possible it is WAY better to either get grocery gift cards and take the cash you would have spent on groceries and buy the Disney cards or just use the trick where you buy at least $50 worth of groceries, add a $50 Disney gift card to your order, and redeem $50 worth of points at the till.

Ahhh, that's the "big digital offer" you meant the other day, sorry. Yes, mine showed up on my receipt. It was something like "spend 50 get 500" with the summery at the bottom of the items.

Yup that's it. I look into my transactions and that date isn't even coming up anyways. I have no luck with this program. So now this weekend, if I spend $50 again, will it post since the first one didn't post? Likely a waste of my time and money.
 
@kimbert Did the offer disappear from your offers once you used it? I just got it fixed with Scene+ facebook messenger (still have to wait for it to post). But that 3x basket offer and the 500 pts is now gone from my offers. I wonder if we will have to add it each week?

I can ask my husband if it's still visible. Unfortunately his portal for offers is a bit different, as he is staff. But I'll ask him!

I found it in my Redeemed offers and it shows that I completed 1 of 3 after I chatted with the customer service rep. I will have to check there again after I go to Sobeys this weekend to see if it works. Still waiting for the 500 points but that can take a day or two.

This happened to me the first time I tried to complete this offer. After every spend, I had to wait 48 hours and then call in. Then they'd send me an email requesting proof. Then they'd give me a points adjustment.

Then 4 weeks after the promo was over, I had to call in and explain, give them all the proof again and they gave me the final bonus.

So much work. And I had to keep track of my receipts which I did by having them saved on my phone along with the offer. Luckily that type of offer has worked fine for me since then.
 
@ElCray same thing happened again today. DH spent over $50 and no points on the receipt.

The 500 points appeared from my FB messenger chat. Chatted again today and they told me to wait the 48 hours, even though I know they won't post. I get much faster CS through messenger then emailing them.

I just keep all of my receipts and I pdf'd the actual eFlyer that has the whole offer noted at the bottom.

As long as I get all 2500 points without much back and forth, fine with me.
 
There’s a new promo on the Scene+ app that gives you a bunch of bonus offers. Oct 28 to Nov 25.You have to log into the Scene+ app and click the Power Up your Points. There you login again and it gives you a personalized game board with bonus offers such as spend at least $0.99 at Cineplex and get 250 points. You click on the places on the board to see what the offer is. Looks like once you’ve logged in and created the game board, the offers will process automatically once you scan your card at the appropriate places. Easy if any of them are things you’re going to do anyways like shopping at Safeway or Freshco.

The game looks like a great option to get bonus points. Unknown if we can do that one, as my DH is an employee so his scene number is our primary now (I'm the points guru in this house) and his app never seems to cooperate.

However, the Atlantic Sobeys flyer also had the same promotion they had a while ago about 3x $50 shops.

With AirMiles taking my recent attention, I'm happy to have to put some back on Scene+ instead of just getting passive credit card points.

The Power Up Game though, I didn't get the 100 points. When I got home and read the T&C, it said you had to be logged into the game prior to check out. Oh well. I will remember that for next week's shop.

I was logged into the game before my shop and i didn't get my 100 scene points. Maybe it takes 48 hours to post.
