I cannot believe they changed it just because a few children are Sooo precious they cannot possibly be exposed to an HHN banner! People need to get on up and over themselves!

Some of these adults talk as if they're having nightmares from that ad. I guess watching the Disney channel all day does weird things to an adult's brain. I wonder if they cry when they see people in public too.

Supposably, Bloody Mary's scarred face in that banner was causing some to soil their pants, so the banner was updated to remove her image.

One of the best things about Halloween 2007 was that I no longer lived in Kansas City, MO and my children were no longer bombarded with ads for The Edge of Hell and The Beast. Amazingly, they were shown before dinner time on Cartoon Network! Try getting ahold of Time Warner, which owns CN, to complain.

I did call the local networks and voice my concern about these types of images being shown on a children's channel.

My concern here is the same. The Disboards are supposed to be family friendly, no? Well, whomever accepted that ad for placement here should lose their job. It is not an image I want my young children exposed to, even in passing.

This type of crud is why so many conservatives are rallying against Halloween. Instead of being a fun night for the kiddies it's turning into a bloodfest for young adult.

Wow, the new banner is definitely a much weaker image. I'm quite disappointed that TPTB caved in to these happy pumpkins and candy corn people and had the image watered down.

And it is a pretty poor photoshop job too.

It is amusing that people are complaining about this ad. Clicking on the banner sends you directly to Dreams Unlimited which is the whole point of this board, is it not?

They did, but people complained that it was offensive for their children, so the got rid of it! J/K

I think one of the things that annoys me most about the whole thing is the second you say you're any younger than 30, they pull out the "holier-than-thou" response of "one day you'll understand".

What happend to parental blocking. Just becaue it is there doesn't mean that your child should be looking at it. Porno is on the net... if they are not watching their children, they can get to that as well. While this may be a "family friendly board", we do not (or should not) be allowing our younger ones to sit on our laps watching what we type and read. These ad's run on TV, are these power crazy Moms friends of Tipper Gore and ready to ban everything I am sorry, but there are others on this board who read the ads as well. There is the right to freedom of speech. There was no profanity in that ad. One should be preventing thier children, not making the site take it down. They need to take responsiblity of their own child instead of placing it onto someone else. That is the problem with society today Blame everyone else for what you do not want to handle yourself Parents should be parents, not the Gustopo
