Scary Rides

Funny that some say if you can do Indy, you can do all. IJ doesn't feel roller coaster like at all to me, it is close to the ground and it stops. Roller coasters are a heights thing for me, which is where the drop sensation kills me! The drop in IJ doesn't even phase me.

I am hoping to get my confidence and try some new stuff too. Would love to try them all withy kids!

I agree, Indiana Jones is far from being the most scary or intense ride in the parks!

I can do Indy but there are others I don't do. Space Mountain is the big one. And my DD10 does Indy but panics at the mere thought of ToT.

Yeah, I think it really depends on what it is specifically that you don't like. If it's big drops, then you'd probably be fine on most everything in Disneyland. With Splash Mountain, I've found that I'm more concerned about how wet I'm going to get than anything else, and I do agree that it is much more scary in the front. Matterhorn is also super tame when it comes to drops, but it gives me a headache with all the jerkiness. The funny thing is, I love drops, Tower of Terror is my favorite ride in both parks hands down but Space Mountain makes me queasy. And that is rare that I get motion sick on anything, so it's weird. I guess it's just being in the dark and not being able to see what's coming.
But honestly, my philosophy is just do it, and if you don't like it you don't ever have to do it again! So glad I went ahead and did ToT the first time, when I was terrified, because it ended up being my favorite!

I'll do any ride in both parks. DW will not do Splash, Tower or Screaming. She's done Screaming and Splash but NEVER-EVER again.(Hoping a grandkid may change her mind). Her 2 favorite rides are Space and the Matterhorn. In fact Space is always our first ride of the day.

My advice is to try these rides at least once. If you don't like them don't feel pressured to ride them again.
