Hi. :wave2: :cheer2:

I have been on all the rides at disney apart from Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Rollercoaster. I have even been on The Mummy in Universal Studios. How intense are ToT and RnR? I am too scared to go on them. I have never been on up-side down rides before. What do you suggest?

I have not been on Rock N Roller coaster, but my DH swears it doesn't go upside down (I know it does) and he has been on it a number of times.

My oldest DD and I have each been on TOT once. I didn't like the drops (if they ever decide to just do one drop, I'll be back on). The other parts of the ride are amazing though and I thought it was well worth sitting thur the drops to see all the special effects. DD felt the same way.
Now, if we could just convince WDW to run one elevator with only one drop, we'll go back on.

I would do it at least once just to say that you did it. And you really can't feel it going upside down it happens to fast. As for ToT.... you may get lucky and only have 3 drops while you may get unlucky and have like 5 or 6 drops. I think I've had that many before.

I think that if you were okay on the Mummy you should be okay on Rockin Rollercoaster. . . as long as you want to try the loop. It is definitely the same 'scare' level (in my opinion)- Maybe a bit less because it is done lightheartedly as opposed to being attacked by mummies!

As for TOT, if you don't like big drops, this one is going to be tough on you- though the theming really is amazing!

I am on for the try it once, then you never have to again theory(-I always go back from more!!). Good luck.

I still get butterflies in my stomach while in line for TOT because I'm so nervous. However as soon as I get through the first drop I realize why I love it so much! Just try it once, it will be over quick enough and if you hate it at least you can say you tried! Personally I think RnR is one of the smoothest coasters around. It's not at all jerky and if you sit back with your head all the way against the back of the seat you will feel like a a hot knife slicing through butter. Hee hee! :thumbsup2 You won't even realize you went upside down until it's already over. Have fun!

This is me all the way. I totally agree with everything on this one!! They are now 2 of my favorite rides. And I hate heights and roller coasters that are not in the dark!!! LOL :flower3: pixiedust:

RNR does have a loop, right from the start. It's so smooth that most people don't even know it. Still.. I have friends that get dizzy going upside down. Give it a try once and bring a sick bag. I'll bet you won't have to use it and you'll be a fan from then on.

TOT is awesome. It drops you like a rock. Actually faster than a rock. It's like going over a bump in a car and getting that feeling in your stomach.

Anytime I get the jitters about a ride I look in line to see the little kids with big eyes waiting to go on for the 400th time. If they can go on it, then a big boy like me should have no fear, right? :guilty:

ToT Is really not that bad, I was laughing through the whole thing, my little brother who is 7 went on it! Although RRC is a bit intense, My sister who is 11 came out shaking and almost in tears (although she isn't a scary ride person) But I think the Mummy in Universal Studios is supposed to be more intense than RRC, so I don't know! All I know is I loved both of those rides! ;)

RnR was my DS, 7, favorite ride!! I hate roller coasters but he insisited I go on it with him for his 2nd ride and I would have to say I enjoyed it and would definitley do it again. The only bad part is the take off. Even as you watch the others take off as you wait in line, there is nothing like the feeling when you're in that coaster taking off. It is so fast, it just takes you by surprise. I really thought at first I had made a mistake by getting on it, but once you get past the take off there is nothing to it. The ride is very smooth and you don't even feel that you are upside down. It was very cool!! :) :goofy:
