Hi Goofs -
8 miles in 1:22 today. We were trying to run slow but it wasn't happening. We'd get to talking and settle right back into our regular pace.
Tomorrow is our first back to back run of our Goofy Training program. I am a little nervous about it because my legws have been tired all week (even WITH an unexpected rest day)
OH WAIT! Unexpected benefit to my post run accelerade ritual: My finger nails are stronger than ever! I actually HAVE to file my nails nowadays. They have always been weak and bendy and easy to rip so I had to keep them super short. Not anymore. I think I might get a manicure.....

Yes that is VERY good. You will be so much better off when you get to the monster month with all those seemingly insignificant training runs in now. It will be huge, I promise.but this year, I have only missed one run during week 1, I am so glad that I am getting this workouts in and these shorter runs are seeming a lot easier now. I guess that is good, right!
No no no - not pumpkin pie, pumpkin upside down cake - hot out of the oven with homemade whipped cream!!! (oh we really have to stop this.....)there is just nothing better than a fresh from scratch pumpkin pie.......![]()
