Scariness of sci fi dine in

I wouldn't let my kids watch The Simpsons :scared:, but I have no problem with the clips at Sci-Fi. I, like you, was concerned the first time I took them. They were 4 and 7 and VERY sheltered. We had no problem at all! We laughed together that people used to be scared of those silly monster masks. It is one of our favorites, and we go every trip. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone. Have discussed what you all said with my SIL and we are going for it. We think they should all be ok. To be honest, I think it was more about pleasing my SIL and convincing her to not worry about the kids, then the kids themselves!;)Everyone else in the party I dying to go and I've wanted to go for years!! Never thought of youtube - good link thanks

The only thing I found scary at Sci-Fi was the food and the service.

If your kids are sensitive, it may be scary to them. My son had nightmares for a while after lunch there. Its silly to adults and most kids - but remember, movies can seem real to young kids with big imaginations
