Well,

At dinner tonight my parents are considering putting my cat, Toonces down...

He has had kidney failor for 3 years now....

His heart is beating 250 times a minute

He has a broken heart valve



At the vet last night...they had to put him in a breathing tent to help him breath

My parents and I dont want to see him suffer any more... so i think we are going to do it...

just pray for me that my cat goes into a better place...

Putting a pet down is really hard, my two dogs were put to sleep.
You just have to remember you're doing what's best for him.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear! Just remember, you're helping him. He won't be suffering anymore and he'll be able to run around and play again. It's always hard to put a pet down, but if you remember that it's truly for the better, is eases the pain a little.

i went through the same thing, except my cat had cancer and his meows were weak because he was in pain.
my parents told me that we were going to put him down, and i took it really hard because i've known that cat forever. I was screaming and everything. & like everyone said above ,it is probably better for him.

i hope you cat goes to a better place, & i hope you feel better soon.

I had to put my cat, Mr.Boots, to sleep. His kidneys were failing and he was just so depressed looking. I think it was for the best though.

I really hate the term "put down" or "put to sleep" like it's sugarcoating the truth... It might be bad for a little kid who thinks they're pet is only going to sleep and will wake up later nice and better...

I'm so sorry! I've had to go through putting a pet down 4 times and it never gets any easier to do. Just remember that they're never completely gone, but rather still fully alive and healthy in your memories. Also remember, you will see them again and when you do they'll be with you for eternity.
