Scared to Cancel Reservaton on MDE Please help

Hi Everyone, In my MDE I have listed my sister as a family member and she is included in our reservations to TRex. However I just found out that she wont be able to go with us so I need to cancel the reservation for just her. When I click on the "Modify Guests" in the reservation all I see is Add Guest there is not an option to delete guest.

There is an option to Cancel Reservation under her screen but Im scared to death to click that for fear that it will delete or cancel our whole reservation.

Is there a way to just take her off the reservation? I may just need to make a call.

Usually, there's no way to remove a single person off an ADR without cancelling and rebooking completely. That said, you should be able to show up without her without penalty.

Also, the availability on the Disney site at T-Rex is just a small portion of what they actually have. If you have a hard time rebooking through Disney, try calling the restaurant directly. You may actually be able to get a better time that way.

You can leave the reservation as is and when you arrive at T-Rex, just let the host/hostess know that one person in your family will not be there. As long as at least one person shows up for the reservation, you will not be charged the no show fee for the missing person.

The only way to change the number of people on a dining reservation is to call. If you do this be very sure the CM understands that you want to keep the reservation, just take one person off. If the CM wants to cancel and re-book, you can ask for a supervisor, hang up and call again, or just show up at T-Rex.

The only dining reservations where you would want the exact number of people are the pre-paid ones (CRT, dinner shows) if you charged the cost to a credit card.

Thanks for the help. I did call TRex today and actually got a better time on the reservation as you said. We originally were settling for 2:00 because that was all that was left. Well since I talked to someone at Trex I got a 5:45 reservation which is exactly what I wanted the first time. So in the end a simple phone call paid off. Thanks for taking the time to respond I love this site.
