Okay, so tonight my work is having a social event, where we all go to this tings @ Canada's Wonderland called Fear Fest.
It's like a haunted theme park type thing...and apparently it's really really scary!!!!

And me, being the chicken that I am....I am scared of EVERYTHING!
I get scared when my SISTER chases me around the house, or when she hides in my closet and pops out at me! I don't even know what I'm going to do if someone with a chainsaw chases me...or if a person with fake blood squirting out of their eye pops out at me!!

I am seriously REALLY scared! I'ma total chicken, and I'm definatley going to embarass myself infront of all my friends!!!!!


Has anyone ever been to anything liek that?
Like halloween horror nights @ universal, or any other haunted theme park things or halloween haunted houses in your town?
Do you LIKE being scared, or like me, do you FREAK OUT?

I'm not really afraid of that stuff, but the commercials I've been seeing for it look quite creepy.

I'd either find it really lame (horror stuff usually bores the hell outta me) or I'd be like you, scared to death.

I have never been to haunted houses or anything like that.
The most I do is the 11 fright nights of halloween or whatever on the travel channel. xD
I freak out and start shaking when I'm scared and it takes about an hour afterwards to get me to stop.
But I always watch scary movies because at the time it's fun but when I go to bed later is when I start freaking out and hide under the covers.

I went to fright fest at six flags a couple of weeks ago, and me,my dad,my friend, and my brother went in STUDIO 13. The haunted house. WE WERE ALL SCARED. Except my dad. lol. Good Luck Caitlin. Im sure you wont make a fool of yourself. Im sure other people will be scared to.

I'm just like you I get scared of everything, my opinion is I think you like shouldn't go if your afraid, I know I wouldn't.

Our town has a haunted house and like every single one of my friends are like Bridget your coming with me, and I'm like nooooo wayyy.

i hate the halloween horror nights or hallowscream. thinking about it just freaks me out and i dont see how someone can actually go to it wanting to be scared. i dont consider fear being a favorite feeling of mine. now, hong kong disneyland is making their halloween party scary. atleast mnsshp is unchanged.

honey, my advice to you is, if you dont like it, dont go. if theyre your friends theyll understand. i have chickened out so many times on people who want me to go to that stuff, and now they know that im strictly the happy not so scary person. :]

By me we have Fright Fest at Six Flags but they don't start the scary stuff until after 6:00 so I leave before then.

heh, i seem to have a phobia of being scared! Anything I find remotely scary i try to avoid alot. Just recently i was looking through the DVC magazine and it had a tiny picture of the yeti from Expederest and i'm kinda scared of him so it made me jump. I had to make sure i covered him up with my thumb or something so i could read the page

i'm VERY scared of the yeti too!

i am HORRIBLY scared of Dinosaurs! Robot Dinosaurs to be specific...so Dinosaur! & Jurassic Park=ASDKJAIOWJE! Make me cry for sure. But I'm ALWAYS dragged on.

Anyways...at least there will be no robot dinosaur haunted house...or i'd be in big trouble

Oh dear! Good luck with all of that!! I'm the exact same way! I get terrified in an UNhaunted cornmaze!! I would seriously die if I had to do anything haunted like that! I can't stand when things jump out at me, even if it's a nice cuddly teddy bear popping out behind a door, not even making a sound, I would still have a heart attack!!

I jump badly if i see a picture of that last dinosaur on the ride... last time i saw it, i was looking up disney rumours on a website. The picture was there, i closed my eyes, scrolled up, covered my eyes and looked through my hands for the backspace... i'm such a wimp! I can't really watch the Top 7 Must See's in WDW because i end up not looking during the DAK sections...

For some reason, i'm also scared of the Dead Men Tell No Tales section of POTC and end up closing my eyes to not see the skeleton... which suprises me since i'm not scared of skeletons though maybe it's because it's animated.

Oh and i haven't been on the Haunted Mansion because i had a very bad experience in a haunted house when i was 4... Same with needles and sharp objects...

i'm a big wimp and proud of it!

i love going to those... being scared is fun.. you get scared, and than you laugh about it.. than you see other people getting scared and than you laugh about that too.. its a lot of screaming, but more about laughing

Okay...so here's the story;

We get there, have a buffet dinner (of hamburgers, hotdogs, pizza & tacos...weirdest buffet ever) and then IT'S ON!
I was fuh-reaking out! Totally scared out of my mind! I had a vest on with a huge hood and in the first couple houses I kept my hood over my eyes and just grabbed onto my friend paul in front of me and my friend stephan behind me. In the 2nd house, I was grabbing on to paul & stephan and then this dude with a chainsaw pops out...I let go of Paul & Stephan (stupidly) and I ran for my life...I have NEVER EVER ran that fast! Everyone who had already gone through was at the exit laughign their heads off at me!

The third house was an insane asylum...I was with Stephan and my head was burried in his chest the WHOLE time...I didn't look up ONCE. He kept telling me 'okay, don't look, don't look' lol. and at the end he's like 'okay it's done, you're okay' and one of the bad dudes overheard and once i took off my hood he came running at me!! I almost started crying in that one.

Next we went on a couple rides, and then I hung with one of my BFFs Mark for the rest of the night. He did a VERY good job of protecting me from the ghoulies! I started to get a little bit braver and would peep out of my hood every so often, but I was holding so tight onto Mark I think I might've cut off his circulation! lol

In one of the mazes that was in a forrest, one of the guys with us told one of the scary dudes my name and he was following me around shouting at me for like 5 whole minutes! THen another chainsaw guy popped out @ Mark & I, and Mark grabbed me and started running, but he ran right into ANOTHER chainsaw guy! THis is all while the guy is still shouting "CAITLIN!!" in my ear!!! IT was sooo creepy!!!

The next house was a mineshaft and it was REALLY REALLY claustrophobic...Mark had his arm around me and he started to like fold me over (because he was bending and he's taller than me) and I was like "Why are you bending me over??" and I tried to stand up and hit my head on the ceiling!! THe room got REALLY tiny! It was so scary!!!

The last haunted house was CLOWN HOUSE! And Mark is scared of clowns...so it was hard for him to protect me while he was scared for his life...so he pretty much wound up dragging me through the whole thing! lol.

THen after that we went back to the ones from the beginning where I had closed my eyes the whole was through...at this point I could ALMOST make it through without burying my face in Marks chest! lol.
It was getting more fun than scary...though I didn't stop screaming.
My friend Paul took a video in one of the houses and at one point you can hear my sister (who was behind me) going "CAITLIN! CAITLIN!" and so I turn around...AND THEY TRICKED ME!! There was a scary dude RIGHT BEHIND ME! ANd I screamed BLOODY MURDER! (followed by a few profanities) aaaand they caught that on tape!!

At the end This guy Eric, who was my sisters designated ghoul protector told this CREEEEEPO dude my name and he followed me around and got RIGHT in my face, and then his CREEEEEPO friend came and joined in, and they were circling me!! VERRRY scary.

I'll post some pics soon...and hopefully that video too!!

But I'm totally glad I went...it wound up being REALLY fun,

But warning...DO NOT go without a big group, or without a guy that you trust to protect you from the monsters! Without either of those I would've cried the whole night through!!
