Scared- Part 2- DD got another note - update Pg 5 link

Oh yea, I'm not sure why people were so shocked about the person seeing your DD riding her bike. I'm not sure of their exact situation, but I live in a subdivision, and if we were riding our bikes around, TONS of kids and adults who are associated with our school would see us. Also, if we went to a bike trail nearby, some would see us there as well.

I know Canada may be different, but I've lived in California, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Maryland, and Hawaii. I went from preK-college in the above states (and I wasn't even a military brat!) and I don't think it is so far fetched that kids from school would see me and know I had been on a bike ride.

Oh Karen, I am so sorry. I was so hoping this was behind you and your family.
Please, please call the police. I have no doubt that, like all of us, you would gladly sacrifice yourself for your child. But this is scary. This maniac could hurt you and your daughter. I hope it is a child writing these notes as that is not as dangerous as an adult would be but we don't know that it is.
You have friends here and we will keep your family in our thoughts.

I probably would have pulled my daughter out of that school by now!

I've kept up with the previous thread and am so sorry to hear
it's starting again. I have prayed & will continue.

This is no judgement, you do what you think is right.
But my personal response would be to get her out of that school,
at least until some clear actions were taken,
especially now that it's started again w/all new upper staff.
Wouldn't matter if I was physically there, just one room down or whatever.
I'd be demanding that every single adult working/volunteering on campus
be subjected to an updated background check - just as a start.

I really pray and hope this is resolved soon for your family!

Why didn't the new principle call the police right away? She knew there was a report already. I see that 2 days are wasted. 2 days when no one would be in the school. 2 days when cameras or other measures could be added quielty. 2 days when the note could be analyzed for fingerprints. As far as I'm concerned no body should touch your dd's backpack or the note until the police arrive.

We have cameras in all the hallways of our school with the video going into the office, I don't know if it is recorded or not but a recorder could easily be added.
It just shows the hallways. I would think it would show someone entering and exiting a classroom.

I hope this is resolved soon.

We are giving them a chance . She will not be in ANY danger as I am in the school. If we talk to the police the will put it on the report and not do anything till Monday anyways. This new principal is very good and We are giving them till MONDAY at noon. We want to see what they will do. I think that is reasonable.

If they can get to your daughter's backpack with NO ONE witnessing it this many times, they can get to your daughter whether you are in the school or not. I would pull her out until this is resolved.

Went back and read the old thread -- saw my comment had already been addressed.

Good luck and I hope you find out who's doing it very soon. Can you move DD to a different school, if necessary?
