scanning tickets

I read somewhere about copying down pass numbers in case they get lost. My question is if you scan the backs of your tickets for the info does it bother the magnetic strip on the pass???? <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

If you mean scanning them with a computer scanner (?) - that should not affect the magnetic strip, nor would xeroxing the pass. Just don't put it next to your credit cards in your wallet!
