Fitz wanted him dropped from the ticket because of his affair with Mellie but Olivia wouldn't allow it. Cy, who is always wrestling Olivia for control probably sees it as a chance to suck up to Fitz by getting rid of the VP.

Guillermo Diaz (Huck) was on Ellen yesterday. It was so nice to see him smiling and laughing. Even Ellen said so

He was super goofy! I don't know how he plays such a serious role every week.

I'm thinking Huck was waiting or following her. And I personally think that Charlie has been following her. I think he was watching her when she and Huck first kissed in the Park.

I agree, Charlie has been watching Quinn and knows she was with Huck. He really creeps me out.

Didn't they show the VP guy at the funeral in the previews?

So..what did everyone think? I thought it was great. I was blown away by how far Eli Pope was willing to go to get what he wants but I realize I shouldn't be surprised. I don't think Olivia is going anywhere. She'll be back.

Mine too. That was something.

So in the end of this season, things are back to "normal" in some areas. Fitz won the second term, Daddy Pope is back at B613 and Mama Pope is in the hole once again. Daddy Pope got what he was after all along; and to think I was sort of starting to like him. What a nightmare.

I am glad that Fitz knows about what happened to Mellie, maybe now he'll be more compassionate to her. Of course she's done some downright shady things, but he was also a class-A jerk to her.

I still can't believe the son died. That was a shock.

I wonder what David Rosen is going to do with all of those files; Rowan Pope is not going to like that one bit.

What do we think is going to be the story trajectory for the next season?

The most chilling part for me this whole season was the speech from Rowan Pope:

"My daughter wanted him to be president. And he is. Daddy took care of it ... He took my child so I took his."

I am glad that Fitz knows about what happened to Mellie, maybe now he'll be more compassionate to her. Of course she's done some downright shady things, but he was also a class-A jerk to her.

Well in fairness, he was a jerk because she completely pulled away from him and didn't give him a reason for doing so. Everytime he asked, she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. The final straw was when he found out that she was involved in the Defiance plot. So him being a jerk to her was completely warranted.
