Got into an interesting conversation with a friend tonight about all the different ways people try to scam Disney and either get an advantage over other guests or get something for free. :stir: Honestly, some of the things blew my mind.

1. People who say that they have "family members" ahead of them in the line and that they had to take a child to the bathroom, and end up cutting the line looking for these supposed family members just to not have as long of a wait! :crowded:

2. People at quick service restaurants that go back up to the counter saying that they forgot to give them an item, just so they can get another for free. popcorn::

Are things like this really that common??? What is the worst that you have heard? :sad2:

Heard a myth about off property folks who book a campsite but not actually use it so they can take adv of the 60-day FP booking window and EMH.

You mean there are lieing liers who lie at WDW? Well I never! I'm shocked! Clutching my pearls and pulling out the smelling salts. :faint:

None of the things mentioned so far are new. Nor is Disney unaware.

haha well obviously there had to be SOME people but just the caliber of what people go to absolutely blows my mind

I wonder if that "you forgot to give me something" would work at California Grill for a double 12 year single malt.....

Unfortunately that is a definitely a thing. There's a whole thread dedicated to it here somewhere.

The only thing that really got to me was on our trip last year. We were in standby for PPF there was a older lady and man in front of us all of a sudden 5 more well grown children-early adults join them in line. Like ok I truly understand a parent or grandparent waiting in line while a small child and other adult got to the bathroom. It doesn't take away from our vacation, but nowadays people don't have manners and will push whatever system to get what they want.
