People are unfair, VMK is "supposed" to be a fair game, but unfortunatly it will happen, rich people target newbies most of the time, because they have just joined VMK, and the newbies have no clue what to do. The only thing to do when trading, is to remember to always check it and then check it again. It's the only way.

Seems to me you don't have much luck with trades that involve the Quest Kiosk, maybe you should stay clear of them
I am actually surprised that VMK replaced your stuff because that was not the intended purpose of the Kiosk. but I am glad you got your stuff back.
