Do you have them?
If not RUN - to your local Target -
This is the BEST starage set-up I have EVER had -
when I put it together and put my paper in it wwhhhooooaaaaa
I have a lot more paper than I though!
I may have to make the 80 mile round trip ride to get more though! -
I will post a picture later if I have a chance!

oooh please post! I would love something to hold my extra paper in!

Patty, is that what's it's called in Target a Paper Cube? Where in the store are they located? And the important part how much are they?

I will be posting photos as soon as my digital camera batteries charge

Yep Target cubes!

To make the set up I have it was $20
It is $9.99 a set and I used two!
CHEAP storage compared to ANYTHING else I have seen-
I will be getting more - Worcester MA is out of black now ;)

They were in the office supplies section - it comes in 13 pieces with 16 connectors (each unit)- I used zip ties snagged from hubby's garage to connect the extra shelves onto it -
you'll understand when I post the pics in a few!

get out that was only $20 Target I am on my way!
I hope to start creating my scrapping area soon!

I know - I want to SUBdivide now solids and patterns!
I wish they had more black ones!
I bought the last two (they still had blue and silver left!)
I know they normally have white two!
:)
I'll be going back again soon too!
Patty

**oh don't look for something like that in the store -
It comes in a box about 13" x 15" x 5"
and again don't forget to buy your zip ties!

I have the white one! It is awesome. They also sell them at COSTCO much cheaper than Target but I've only seen them in white.

Tina

I have a white one , but would like to get the black to match the stuff hubby got for me when we updated my scrap are .

I can't see your picture, but if these are the wire mesh cubes, then I have been using these for a few years, they are very cheap, and they work well, but they can rip your paper - you might want to try lining the shelves with something, I have considered wrapping mine with some cheap fabric, you would need to put holes in it to put the cable ties through, but it would protect your paper. I've actually stopped using mine because I had to give up my scraproom :( (the things we do for new babys!) but I was pretty happy with them except for battered corners on my cardstock.

this is what mine looked like, if it's the same thing

Nikki - spraypaint them!
Tina - Cheaper tha 9.99 each
Bev -
that is the chat group for the DIS scrapbookers that we are making - feel free to join! Yep they look about the same! - I noticed when I did put it together that I put some of the squares 'upside down' , and the paper sometimes caught as I put it in - so just make sure you have the 'level' side up and put the heavier cardstock on the bottom and you should be fine!

LOL about giving up the scraproom for the babies - I share my office/scraproom with my bedroom - good thing its a big room or we would have to get rid of the bed!

It must be California pricing but at my Target and online they are 19.99 a piece and you only get enough to make 6 cubes. Whereas at Costco it is $12.99 and it makes 9 cubes. I am finding things here are priced totally different the East Coast so, what is true for there isn't here! Especially things at Target & Michaels. Just thought I'd let you know. LOL!

Maybe it would be cheaper for us to get some stuff for you and ship it out to you. I live in tax free NH. Would be glad to assist in anyway I can.

maybe with anything but the Cubes it'll be better - those are HEAVY!
I love tax fre NH - I'm about 20 minutes from Rindge so I go there twice a month - plus no bottle depoit - then we can return them in MA for .05 a can LOL

That is very cool- Target and Costco are my two favorites, so I will have to check this out next time I am there.

BTW, Oregon is sales tax free too! Love it!

I went searching at target tonight for the paper bins but, they didn't have any left. The had the big cubes but not the ones for the paper.

I'll have to keep checking back.

it's the big cubes that you need to buy. You also need to buy a packet of cable ties, and then you build 2 cubes normally and use the cable ties to attach the other sides to make shelves.

These are them Organise It Cubes

Bev

ok I am confussed now!
So you buy the big cubes and then break it down and recreate it to hold the paper?

Yes - what you actually get is a flat pack of sides and connectors, which you would need to build anyway. It has 20ish sides in it, and enough connectors to make 6 cubes, so you could have 2x3, or steps, 3x2x1 etc - I used to use them in college to store my books in, and had them as big cubes, BUT for paper what you are going to do is only build 2 cubes, and then use cable ties to attach the remaining 14 or 15 sides to make shelves like this

I just read on Scrapjazz that Target will have the cubes on sale starting next Sunday for $9.99 Hope that helps somebody! :teeth:
