Any of you SBP brides/brides to be have any pictures of how you decorated SBP or how you will decorate SBP? I've seen alot of pictures with the rose petals down to aisle but I was wondering what else we could do to make it even prettier. :cutie:

I know that there have been some WP brides who have these really pretty candles that line the aisle but where SBP looks pretty flamable i doubt thats an option  So i'm just wondering what others have done or will be doing.

Hi Katie, here's a pic that Randy took on his way round to the Beach Club to meet us on our VR day. I didn't want to pay for a lot of extra decoration, I was very happy with how it all looked.

I love your colors! they're so beautiful!

What are those columns at the end of the aisle i can't tell.

Our wedding isn't until January so we don't have any pictures yet, but we have talked with Rosie about using Cherry Blossoms. We live in DC, and if were to get married here we'd do it during the Cherry Blossom season, under a cherry tree so we thought it was a nice way to tie in our adoptive home.

Sorry the photos are so big, seem to be having a problem with photobucket today and it won't let me re-size them!

I originally sent Rosie this as an inspiriation picture, for a cherry blossom archway:

It is not cherry blossom season in January though, so we'll have to go with fake ones and adjust the plan, but I'll live.

Raelizing the archway wouldn't work, and after discussing different inspiriation pictures with Rosie, the current plan is light & dark pink rose petals down the aisle, and cherry blossom branches in vases on white pillars up by the altar area.

The chairs will have either pocket programs or monograms tied to the back of them with ribbon, similar to this:

I'm a bit nervous about the decorations, it is not the usual way SBP is decorated so I've mostly just been finding pictures of things I like and sending them to Rosie who then calls me and we discuss what would or wouldn't work and still keep me in my budget.

While looking for ideas though, I saw this and thought it might be pretty for a spring or summer wedding at SBP so I'll post it in case it inspires another bride.

Thanks for posting that!!! I'm at work and don't have any of my pictures but i saw something like the monogram tied around the chair that i liked. Instead of the monogram they tied the rose petal cones for the staged exit to the chairs. It was kind of doing a doubly duty and served as decoration and for the toss!

I love the cherry blossoms though. SO PRETTY! i saw a cherry blossom wedding cake that would go perfect with your theme!

Do you mind me asking how much the cherry blossoms in the vases are going to cost?

Not at all! I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from Rosie. She is waiting on a quote from her vendor since we have to go with the silk ones.

I think I've seen the same cherry blossom wedding cake that you have. It IS gorgeous, but I let DF choose the cake and he said right from the start that he wanted a Mad Hatter, so that it is!

Our at-home reception is going to be outdoors during cherry blossom season though, so I'm going to see if we can't get the cherry blossom cake then. We'll be saving money since it is basically just a BBQ, so we should be able to afford to splurge a little and have another cake. :goodvibes

I love SBP decorated or not, but Disney floral really did a nice job for us.
Sorry for the picture overkill!

Oh WOW!!! That looks amazing!!!

I love the pillars with the candles on them... were they expensive?

Oh and by the way i totally am using your colors. My sister and DF and his groomsmen will be in a deep blue and the flowers will all be fuschia. I saw some of your pictures on the POTD thread when i first started planning and i loved it!

Thanks! You can PM me if you dont want to post it on here. :goodvibes

I love the madd hatter cake too. And i love that your at home reception is going to be like mine. we lovingly refer to it as our "red neck" reception :rotfl2: But we think its great! And you should totally splurge on a cake especially where it goes with the theme!

Thanks Katie! I remember reading some of your PJ awhile back, but didn't realize your color selections! I'm happy I could help and be any sort of inspiration! As for the pedestal w/ the candle-- mine was for the memorial candle for my dad. Disney typically discourages candles at SBP and other outdoor venues b/c they can easily blow out. We used the hurricane and tucked it in the corner to help alleviate the likelihood of that. Regardless, I pulled up my floral BEO and it was:

White memorial candle with a navy blue satin wrap - place a swarovski crystal Mickey accent at the front center of the ribbon. $20.00
Place a coordinating floral cluster at the base of the candle.
Place candle and floral on pedestal on the brides side of the altar. $35.00

HTH! :goodvibes Any other questions just let me know!

I looked at my BEO and they're just described as "columns" with vases LOL. I was charged $25 rental fee for them.

hahaha they're so descriptive! :rotfl2:

Thanks though this is good to know!:thumbsup2

Can I ask how much the aisle petals cost? What quantity of petals did you get? I would like a similar amount, so I'm trying to figure out what to ask for. I don't want to be "oversold." :rotfl:

I had some ribbons that were very pretty:

Other than that, it was just the petals as decoration:

All of these ideas are GREAT! Are those two plants in the back near the water (I call them the twisty plants) always at SBP?

I love the chair covers with the bows. You had such bright vibrant colors.
It looks so nice. We are using SBP for a surprise VR for my parents.

I asked for a "light" covering of petals. My BEO says, 'sprinkle the aisle with matching orange and hot pink petals' and the cost was $65. Feel free to use my picture to show your planner what you want.

Yes, I think those plants are always there, no charge for them LOL.

Good! I'm glad I could help. :) When I get a few days off I'll wander over to your PJ and check out all your other plans! So Fun! If there's anything else I can help w/ just let me know! :goodvibes

Ember, I've always loved your wedding and now that it is time for my own SBP point wedding I am finding so much inspiration from your photos! I adore the ribbons that you had lining the railings.
