I'm thinking about making sb pages for Christmas gifts, and I love the frames that I've seen. I was wondering if any of you have used them, and if you were pleased with a certain brand? Also, I'd love to know where you purchased them & an estimate price...

Thanks so much! ;)

I just ordered a wood frame from Frame-a-Page. I saw their ad in PaperKuts and got 15% off with their code. This co. offers 3 different types of frames in 3 different sizes (plain ol' 12x12, 12x12 with a mat, and big enough for a 2-page 12x12 spread). I bought one that can be painted or stained. Dh will stain it to match the wood in our living room (it's a layout I did of our family by the Mickey DVC topiary outside the VWL with our VWL pin below it). I'm really excited to get the frame -- I'll post again with my impressions when I get it!

Their web page is:

This is what I'm looking for! Would love to hear back when you see how the frameapage product turns out!

Any more? ;)

Got my Frameapage frame today. It's very nice, however I am disappointed with it. The display area is 11-1/4"x11-1/4". So now all the details at the bottom and top of my page can't even be seen. It looks bad. :(

That being said, in the future, if I know I'm going to want to frame a page, I would buy another one of these and just be sure that there are no details around the edges. It would be perfect if I had planned for it.

UPDATE: I really, really like the frame so I decided I was going to make it work. I resized my layout a little bit (fortunately my adhesives came up with no problem!) and it looks like it will work out just fine. I just have to remember in the future not to put anything too close to the page edges if I'm planning to frame a layout. ;)

Wow, these certainly are not cheap, but I love the Prestige line and would definitively spend the money for a special layout. I'd be tempted to purchase the 16x16 and then have our local frame shop cut a custom mat that perfectly frames my layout.

have you seen these

they are plexiglass and hang with a ribbon. I haven't seen one, but a friend of mine stocks them and she says they are really nice.

Apparantly it's quite easy to change the layout too - so you could have one hanging and put your latest layout in, or just change it as the mood takes you.

Oh well now those are sweet too, with the ribbon. I like the Prestige wooden frames for their more formal look, but you can't beat the affordability of the others.

Thanks for the help guys! I have the opportunity to get alot of the scrapbookframe. ones dirt cheap, so I'm going to make them for everyone on my Christmas list! Now, I just have to get busy...
