I found at ACMoore today, new Dress It Up Memory Mate "Buttons" called Guess Who. They are Mickey heads (14)and a couple of "gems" (4) for $1.99.

You can make your own mickey buttons:

take a regular two hole button and thread wire thru then twist each end around a pen several times and position the "loops" up top as "ears". Clear as mud?

I think they make great embellishments!

What a great idea!!! I will give it a try now, since I have buttons and wire here at work...I'll have to wait for the boss to leave for lunch, though...LOL

I've also seen people use one big and 2 small buttons for Mickey's, which is also very cute.

I've seen people do the same thing with a big eyelet and 2 small eyelets too. Also the big swirl punch and 2 small swirl punches make a great mickey head too!
