SB: Just found out I'm going again in Oct...looking for SB ideas.

I just started scrapping our trip from last August. Then I have three others to do. So I am trying to find ways to make them look a little different. My August trip I'm doing by our itinerary (sp?). No special color schemes or anything.
But for this Oct. trip...we are going to MNSSHP. So I thought about doing the whole trip in a halloween layouts. Or my DS gave me the idea to the trip in fall colors, but then do the party in halloween. I'm going to start picking up supplies when I see them...that way I'll be more motivated to get it done!
I'm hoping I can at least get our trip from last yr done before I go.

Any tips or ideas on how keep trips different? What do you think about the fall or halloween ideas? If you have any better ideas....please feel free to pass them along. I'm so excited to do my disney trips...but it's hard to think of ways to make each trip look different. I hoping to get two trips in each book! Thanks for any help you can offer!

Ooooh! I love black and white pics. Would I do my pages in black and white, fall colors or halloween? Do you mix color with blk/wh pics? I have never done any blk/wh in my books. So this would be a big step. But I like the idea!
I was just a twopeas looking at layouts! I saved a ton of pics to reference later. I bet I saved some of yours....I loved the blk/wh. There were 36 pages...I went through them all!!

I would say do them all in black and white... with a little bit of color thrown in here and there. I've never done a whole book like that... but my black and white layouts are some of my favorites!! And Halloween would be perfect to do it... especially if you go often and this isn't your only book, KWIM?

Another thing, Wendy. If you have time, get over to Daytona. You can go see Jr's car. It's $20 to get into that place, but it's pretty cool.

We went earlier this year, but I had to use my regular camera and the pictures still haven't been developed. I'm thinking of taking my ticket stub when we go back and asking if I can just get some quick photos of the car again... or maybe I should just use up this film and see if the pictures are any good? LOL!!!

I just found out stamping station is coming out with some NASCAR paper and tags. To which I say its high time they start coming out with items for this sport.

Cool!! I know the Nascar stuff is limited. I picked up a die cut (actually, I picked up 3 since I have 3 boys) of a Nascar title thingy. I used colored CS to match the Nascar colors...

We went to Daytona in 2001... I still have yet to scrap those pictures... not to mention the ones on the camera from earlier this year. *sigh* (Oh... and we didn't go to races... just toured the track in 2001, saw Waltrips car and then went to see Jr.'s car this year.)

That must of been a blast to see Jr & Mikey's cars. How fun! My family would love to visit there someday. This trip is with my sister and mother. Maybe the next time my family goes we can get there.

I have been thinking about the blk/wh pages. What do you think about blk/wh pics on black pages with little touches of color? Then for MNSSHP...do both color and blk/wh on halloween pages? I'm so excited to scrap this...it's all I've thought about the last day and half.

Diane....I went and looked at more of your pages. It was to funny. I have more of them saved then I knew...I didn't even know they were yours. Too funn!! You have inspired me to get a move on. Gotta get last yrs in my book before I go in Oct. That's my goal. Next week the kids go back to school...it's cleaning and scrapping!

I like that idea!! I wonder if you could get away with Halloween and MNSSHP being mostly black and white with one photo (the best/favorite) in each layout being in color?

We've never got at Halloween!! Now I'm kinda bummed... LOL!!!


Hmmm... we're going at Thanksgiving... I wonder if I could do a whole book in like a sepia color????
