What titles have you used for Disney layouts? I've done 3 so far.

Title page of Disney album - "Disney" at top of page, "2003" at bottom. This page was really simple, just a 5X7 group picture at Epcot, taken by Disney photographer. I used the paper frame it came in to mat the picture. Added a few embellishments but not much else. This page might be a work in progress, lol.

page of Mickey & kids photos - I was going to use "meeting Mickey" but ended up going with just "Mickey", in color blocks using the Disney alphabet I found here. It turned out really well.

I did a Cinderella layout with no title whatsoever.

For pics of the parade, I plan to use "I love a parade"

I need a titles for:

various princesses at Cinderella breakfast

various other characters - I was thinking "Character Connections"? Does anyone else have something better?

Various ride photos

Fireworks - mostly pics of ds4 awed by Illuminations. Or should I just skip a title and place his comments "ooh" aah" "wow" strategically on the page?

What other title pages have you used, which may be helpful to the rest of us?

The only thing I've done so far that you mentioned was a page of characters we met outside Animal Kingdom on the way to the bus...since it was Baloo, Timon, King Louie and Raffiki I used the title "It's a JUNGLE out here"...it just seemed to work.

Also, I have 3 shots of my grandson asleep on the balcony and in bed at our room at AKL so I used "Disney Dreams" from the show on the Cruise...at the bottom I used the Peter Pan quote about Pixie Dust...

For my title page for Animal Kingdom I used part of Michael Eisner's speech from the dedication then put 10 pics around it that I cut into 2 x 2 squares...all different aspects of the park.

I use a lot of quotes in all my scrapbooks, and find I'm doing the same in my Disney one.

For the Cinderella breakfast I will probably use something REALLY original...something like "Cinderella's Royal Table" in a 2 page spread...LOL...that's exactly what I did for the Breakfastosaurus pages, and I loved that it was just a "no-brainer"...I need as many of those as I can get;)

It's been awhile since our trip, but here's a few I used in my album:

Time to Remember the Magic (the opening layout to our Magic Kingdom section...started with a pic of the "watch" from the Cont. Resort)

The Circle of Life (Lion King)

Take me to Neverland (Peter Pan's Flight)

Under the Sea (Ariel)

A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes (Pics of the castle, Cinderella, the mice, etc...)

Mickey: How Does Your Garden Grow (misc. pics of the fantastic topiaries, gardens, flowers, etc...)

Come on a Safari with Me (Kilimanjaro Safari)

Silly Old Bear (Pooh)

TaTa for Now (Tigger)

S'More Fun (Camp Minnie Mickey)

Disney Dining (misc. restaurant pics)

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (Mary Poppins--this title went up, across, and down the sides of a two page spread)

When You Wish Upon A Star Your Dreams Come True (last page in album)

HTH,
Candi

I used "Remember, It All Started with a Mouse" on a title page with an enlarged picture of the Walt/Mickey statue. Please keep these coming; I'm copying this for my next trip layouts

If you PM me Jen with your e-mail address (or anyone else), I can e-mail you a scanned copy of "125 Tantalizing Titles to Enliven Your Layouts" from my CK "The Big Idea Book of Disney Memories". It's too much to type here.

Here are mine, original and not:

Safari (in big letters) at Animal Kingdom (on a tag)

What A Character (my son with all the characters)

There's Nothing Sweeter Than a Mermaid's Kiss (my son with Ariel)

Making Music (Playing with the drums at Animal Kingdom)

Hope this helps!

Hi everyone,

I'm getting lots of PMs for the Disney Titles and it's getting a little confusing to keep track of everything so I just want to post that if you PM me with a request & I don't e-mail you within a day, PM me again (you probably got lost in the masses ;) ). I work from home and am in front of my computer most of the day so I should respond to your request fairly quickly, otherwise you got "lost".

By the way, I'm fairly new to scrapbooking (Timon posted her site on the Canadian Board a couple of months ago, I took one look & was hooked)! Anyway, this "CK - The Big Idea Book of Disney Memories" is just awesome & I couldn't imagine doing Disney pages without it (mind you I don't have Timon's talent or artistic ability). We pay $25 for the book here in Canada but I think it's worth every penny.

PS. Don't forget to send your e-mail address when you PM me so I can e-mail you back...a few have forgotten ;)

Lisa, that sounds like a great book, I think I might just have to buy one for myself!! :):)

Thanks for all the ideas, everyone! :)

Just bumping this up because a few people have requested the "ideas" from me but did not include their e-mail addresses. So be sure to check your PM...if you are one of them, I PMd you back requesting your e-mail address (wouldn't want anyone to think I was ignoring them).

Have a nice weekend everyone...it's a long weekend for us here in Canada & the sun is shining & it's a beautiful day :)

"Also, I have 3 shots of my grandson asleep on the balcony and in bed at our room at AKL so I used "Disney Dreams" from the show on the Cruise...at the bottom I used the Peter Pan quote about Pixie Dust..."

Giatocj, I had a sleeping pic of my son. I put it with some pics of him having fun, and wrote "Having so much fun sure does make me sleepy". Now I wish I had gone with "a dream is a wish your heart makes when you're fast asleep".

Pics with princesses - The Royal Treament (Thanks DisneyLisa!)

Goofin' around with Goofy

Nuts about Chip -n- Dale

What a bunch of characters

I'm also making a scrapbook for my parents, to thank them for taking our family to Disney. They also took the rest of the grandkids at different times, and I've gotten everyone else to say they'll add some pages to the book as well. Which do you think is better for the opening page?

It's time to remember the magic?

or

Thanks for the memories?

Here a few that I've used:

on a princess page - "Our Little Princess"

Animal Kingdom - "A Wild Place to Play", "Wild Thang"

A page with us with various Disney hats on - "Hats off to You"

A lot of times I just use the title of the ride or attraction. I also use words from the songs or attraction that go with each page. Have fun. I've gotten some good ideas from this thread.
Lisa
