Since some people forget what the CB is about, let's try a nice thread for a change.

I like the CB because -

1.) There is always some one to play with.

2.) Dan Murphy hangs out here and he is one of the nicest people I have ever "met".

3.) I know I can always get help, hugs or laughs whenever I need it the most.

2. It feels like a community-- the good, the bad, the ugly

I'm loving this thread...

1. Where else will everyone understand why I'm dying to go back to WDW even though I just went in March? And why I told DH it was more economical to buy AP's (when I'm secretly figuring on another trip!)

2 I've gotten great advice on everything from how to care for my new laminate floor to how to deal with a 13 yo daughter.

3. There are a lot of really funny, wonderful, caring people here.

And I'll even give you an extra one:

4. I can procrastinate about doing my work by DIS'ing! It's summer at a college...how much do I REALLY have to do?

1. I like the CB because there's always at least one thread that makes me spit my pop (soda/coke/tonic) on the computer screen in hysterical laughter.

2. I like the CB because I am always learning new things that make me think, even when I don't agree with them.

3. I like the CB because it keeps me connected to Disney, even when I don't have a trip planned.

There are some really great people here who show great compassion and kindness to people they don't really even know.

I usually hear what's going on in the world before anyone else in my office knows.

I learn all kinds of facts, figures and information so when I discuss things with friends, they think I am really smart.

1. I always learn something new!! Many posters make me think about stuff I wouldn't think much about or even KNOW about, for that matter!

2. It helps my day go faster at work, especially when it's slow and boring.

3. I can always ask for advice, or for an answer to a question and someone here will know the answer or where to go to get it. That always amazes me!

1. You are my link to the most current news (I didn't even know that Martha Stewart was being sentenced!)

2. I can ask anything, and can offer help to many people (not the most knowledgeable Disney person)

3. Meeting new people!

There are MANY reasons I like the DIS:

I love the budget board, I get great advice there on how to save money to go to WDW.

I love chatting to others about WDW. I learn all kinds of things from the best day to go, to the best restaraunt. I love to read their reports.

I love the Restaraunt Board - It helped me when I wanted to take my DD to Cinderella's castle for her birthday. I chatted with people on there about when to call. What time was best to get into certain restaraunts.

I love the board about hotels/off site. I learned where to stay off site, what the best price was, restaruants off site. I learned about TUG (another board regarding timeshares).

I love reading the onsite hotels at Disney. Which is best, etc.

I could actually go on and on and on.

Hey, Rutt and Tuke--we're back on the plus side again! Cati saved the day.

I hope your little girl is doing ok!
