Say Jambo to Donald's Safari Breakfast @ Tusker (Pics & Mini-review)

i don't believe they were seating outside at all, nor was it presented as an option.

and i'm pretty sure dawa is still in tact

Thanks for the great pictures..I am making ressies in the next few weeks and now I can't wait...

you eat inside correct?

Yes. You eat indoors. In this photo, you can see the tables and others eating in the background.

That menu sounds really good, I may add that to my list of places to eat next year.

Great review. I love their costumes. We are going next week and I can't wait!

...we also had Donald's Safari Breakfast. We actually made a 10:10 ADR and got in a few rides before our breakfast time. We had a blast-food was good and the character interaction was really great and not rushed. It seemed the characters were a little confused though--3 of the 4 came to our table 2x and I think it was because they didn't realize they had been there before--we were of course happy, but I am thinking it was in error, not because they wanted to join us for more interaction. I haven't taken my photos off my camera yet, but the original poster had great ones so I don;t think mine would add anything!!

Thanks so much for the review! We are eating breakfast there next week, we can't wait!!!

Lets not bury this one as it's a great review with great pics. TTT

Best breakfast at Disney as far as my family was concerned. They have a little bit of everything and something for everyone. The juice is good to.

We decided last minute to take a quick, three-night trip at the end of January. We have a reservation for Donalds at 8 AM. Looking forward to the new experience... We loved the other one and hoping to love this one even more. We have eaten at Donalds every trip and my boys always have amazing smiles on their faces and eat well to boot. Can't wait.

I am so glad to see this thread. I have made ADR's for our trip in February for this breakfast and did not really know what to expect of it. Now I can be excited and my only concern will be if I booked it too late to have a good buffet experience. I have booked for 10:30 and I worry that we might feel rushed and food won't be replaced as often because lunch starts at 11:30. Should I be worried about that at all. I thought about booking earlier in the morning but we will be a the PPP at MK the night before and I plan on a late night there. I figured the girls would not be bright eyed and bushy tailed earlier in the day and it might be hard to get out the door of the hotel room in time for an earlier breakfast.

I don't know if it's like this for every character breakfast, but once we had a late breakfast reservation for Ohana @ the Polynesian (I think for around 10:45) and around the end of our meal we were practically the only people still there - it was great character interaction, we basically had them all to ourselves. :)

Just a quick question, who is in the photo taken prior to going into breakfast - is it all the characters or jus the family. we have a reservation on 10th feb at 8.15am

Thanks

Michelle

We just got back and really enjoyed this breakfast. We have visited the other several times.... The food choices are better at this one. Food is tasty too. We liked the large market area to get your food. The room we were in was small and very crowded. The characters came through VERY QUICKLY. They really just came to the table for a pic... no "interaction" to speak of. The room was a bit loud (as some others stated). Server was very friendly. Party was fun. Overall, we enjoyed it.

Final Thoughts:
Wish Pluto was there:sad1:
Wish is wasn't so loud and crowded :confused3
Did like the Dino theme at the other one better... Although African theme was nice
Food selection was very good

It is taken right outside with your family only. They bring your photo in a folder with yours on one side and the characters on the other. You take pics with the characters at your table (one at a time) as they come around. It is Mickey, Donald, Daisy, Goofy.

We really enjoyed the breakfast! The Juice was wonderful, but the Passion Juice is offered at all breakfasts!

The open market is just a splendid idea! As always a Wonderful Disney Idea!

Thanks for posting the link to this, Brad. I'm looking forward to it even more now :thumbsup2
