When we got free dining in '09 and '10, we got: 1 snack, 1 CS, 1 TS credit per person, per day. My Sister tells me that this is no longer the case. That when free dining is offered now, you get 1 snack and 2 CS credits per person, per day. She tells me you can pay additional $ to get an "upgrade". Is this accurate? Hoping not, but fearing she's right...

It depends on where you stay. If you stay at a Value resort, you get QSDP (Quick service dining plan), which is the plan you described. If you stay moderate or deluxe you get the regular DDP.

QSDP = 1 Snack Credit, 2 CS Credits, 1 Resort Mug
DDP = 1 Snack Credit, 1 CS Credit, 1 TS Credit, 1 Resort Mug (mug is new feature)

Value Resorts = QSDP. Cost to upgrade to DDP $16.55/day/Adult
Moderate/Deluxe Resorts = DDP

I remember once in the past there was a FD offer at moderates with QSDP. Current FD offers are as described above.

They're right...the way the free dining offers are now, if you stay at a value resort it's the quick service plan you get free. That's usually the case with public offers now, there are some PIN codes that give quick service free at moderates or regular dining with values.

Under the current public offer if you stay at a moderate or deluxe it's regular dining free. According to your signature you may prefer value resorts, so you'd have to pay to upgrade on the current offer or jump a category to moderate resorts to get regular dining.
