Help me figure this out.

Many have posted and said that AAA rates are out for 2003. I have talked to 4 different CRO CM's in the last 4 days. Thay said they are not available yet.

So I had my AAA Travel Agent call. She called twice a day for the last 3 days and spoke to CM's she has worked with for a long time including "Cinderella" and "Balou" They both said they are not out yet. What's up?

Last night I was told that WL is sold out for January 9 & 10, and that there are no more savannah rooms at AKL for that time. Could that be possible? I thought is was a slow time.

BTW, Each time I called I was quoted different prices for the exact same hotel, room category and dates. Could it really be this messed up?

I think the WDW Marathon activities are on Jan. 10th, 11th, and 12th this year. That might have something to do with crowds at the resorts. We've been there in early January a few times and always had light crowds in the parks, but the resorts have been pretty full because of all the families there for the marathon. If you can get a room, it's still a great time to go. The marathon people have never impacted our stay at all. We wouldn't hesitate to go that time of year again, and we are ones who HATE crowds!

I can't really answer your question about the AAA rates. Sorry.

Thanks for the WL info.
Iknow we'll have a great time.

Does anyone know what's up with AAA?

Received my confirmation in the mail today (8/02) with AAA discount that I called on Monday to make.

Thanks!

It just seems like the prices are higher than they should be.

Here's what they said:

AKL Savannah $519 for 2 nights
CSR Standard $236 for 2 nights
POR Standard $236 for 2 nights

I'm going to wait and hope it gets better.

I called today and got the AAA rate for the Poly/Concierge for July 2003. She told me to call later in the year or the first of next year for AP rates. She was a very nice CM.

Rates you were quoted sound about right. I had AAA rates for Dec value season at AKL savannah and it was $252 a night. You were quoted $259 if I'm reading right. Remember, AAA is only 20% or so off rack rates. We are getting spoiled with these code and AP rates at 35 - 40% off!
