This actually is pretty comical! Le Cellier is consistently ranked as the most popular Disney restaurant in World Showcase, and one of the top property wide. Have no fear. This Canadian Steakhouse isn't going anywhere, especially for a restaurant that fails to fit in thematically. Down under and the the north would be quite the mix. :)

Update: Nobody bring up Norway!

Sorry About the bad info...
Don't worry, that's why the Dis is here! If no one asked any questions or had ideas this place would stink.

:disrocks:
Just check and remain calm before reacting hastily. Also, make sure all your sources are well placed. I'm glad we could clear it up. Though you did make me hungry for a steak...

Is it really better than outback?

If you have to ask that question you've obviously never been to LC! It's certainly not on the caliber of Shula's as far as food goes but it certainly well Outback, not even in the same ballpark.

I've covered them all...including Le cellier.

Many times over.

It was tongue in cheek. Le cellier is...by far...the most overrated food In wdw.

It's not that it's bad...it's that it's priced at 3x what it's worth. Instead of the standard 2x markup.

So the question still holds...for the money ;)

You sly dog ;)

Funny though, since on my last trip I found the steak at BOG much better than the one I ate at Le Cellier. The whole LC meal was pretty blah that trip, not to mention the screaming kid ruining the "Signature Dining experience".
Couldn't have pegged it better...

Bravo

I have a friend that absolutely Loves Le cellier and won't pass it up she must eat there every trip. I have never eaten at a single signature restaurant during a trip. But based on what I've read many say it's overrated. I talk to my friend and she says it's amazing.

I like the soup, but since I've been able to make a decent approximation of it and have access to good pretzels (living in Philadelphia), it's a meh anymore. Their maple-glazed creme brulee was decent.

“We know that some diehard fans will be upset about the change,” Scott said. “We would like to remind them to never believe anything that they read on April First.”

It depends on "amazing"

I once had a server tell my wife that mussels are "very fishy...that's the way they're supposed to be"

To which I responded "only the bad ones that you should toss out when they don't open...I eat about 1,000 every summer and they are not fishy at all."

That was "amazing"

Overall the bill is high and the steaks are pretty average.
Shulas is the best steak at wdw no doubt. I don't think they do a good job at yachtsmans either. There's just something off in the prep. Like maybe they don't season intentionally or have the wrong grills.

Just an observation.

An Outback Steakhouse in Canada sounds about right...........

I'm not knocking the OP but I spit tea all over the screen when I saw that

Agree! I had a very good steak at BOG as well! We haven't gone to LC since they axed the cream cheese mashed potatoes. We found it a great place to eat, but there are just a lot of others out there.

I have yet to eat at any of those places. My friend claims the food is what's amazing. Everything you said is what I have heard otherwise. Being on the dining plan the last two trips we haven't done any of those places because they a two credits, and for what you get is it really worth those two credits. I'd rather have two meals than one.
