say it aint so - 1900 park fare - cindy dinner - no more or refurbed?

i had plans on calling for a ressie for the 1900 character (cindy) dinner and when mentioning it to a fellow WDW nut....she seemed to have info that they were either doing away with cindy there or refirbing the place soon.

anyone have any info at all?

They're just rehabbing it.

1900 PF is being redone and the meal has moved to the Grand Floridian Cafe during the rehab.

do you have any dates on this rehab and does anyone know if they are still having the character meal in the Cafe? (and is it a plated meal or a buffet - same foods? price?)

I saw somewhere that it would be plated while at the cafe.

• • 1900 Park Fare will be closed for refurbishment from July 9 thru October 1. During this time, the Grand Floridian Cafe will be hosting the Character meals. (Lunch at the Cafe is temporarily discontinued)

I called to make a ADR for 1900 Park fare dinner on 9/24. The CM that I spoke to said it is being moved to the Grand Floridian Cafe and it will be plated all you care to eat!
