Nobody got mad.

You reported something that a CM said. That led to a good discussion about whether the CM's statement was likely to be true or untrue. I think some of us were surprised when, a day later, you asked, "what section did they tear down????"

Whenever someone posts news or rumors on this board, it leads to discussion. One of the reasons that I like this board is posters tend to take Disney's corporate culture and Disney's business strategy into account.

It's gone already. They're putting up a restaurant and hotel themed around Oswald. It's halfway done and will be open next month. They'll take ADR's 365 days in advance and there will be special hotel rates for return guests.

Don't forget the new DVC property they are squeezing in there.

While there may be some plans for PI in the future, it was not being torn down during the week of 2/11 as the original post stated. I was down in Florida yesterday, and I had gone to Downtown Disney on Thursday. PI was still there.

I was at the Marketplace yesterday. I saw some contruction in one of the stores. I think it was the toy store. The CM said they were moving the Adventurers Club in there .
He said that PI will become more like the West End of DTD, more chain type places. I wonder what they will do with CW?

I wasn't there - but I don't think that's what the CM said.

I'm not an expert, I was there in January, The World of Disney Store(I think that's the name of the huge disney store) was under construction, remodeling girl and boy themed sections. The boy section is going to be called Adventure something (i'm not sure the exact name), but it's not a club from PI.

He could have been confused by the name, very familiar and we all know that CM's are not always very well informed. I could care less, just saying what he said to me.

We go to DTD on a regular basis. I was in Marketplace twice less than a week ago.
In the WoD store part of the building is blocked off and the windows covered, where all the princess mechandise use to be. Right outside the door is a temporary tent/canopy that is full of princess stuff.
I recall seeing a sign by WoD that read something about Adventurer's. But I got the impression it will be a boy's section, as they have princesses for girls.
