Saw WAY TOO MUCH on Kali Rapids

This last week we saw a woman wearing a bra as a top in MK. Not a bikini, not a sports bra, a Victoria's secret satin demi cup bra. I know because I own the exact same one. I realize they are really no different than a bikini top, but I really wish that they would enforce some sort of dress code in the parks. It just makes me uncomfortable to see barely dressed people in the parks.

Crazy Kanga, there is a dress code. i sent an email a few years back complaining about the lack of dress in the parks. a very nice CM responded and stated that the park CM are to ask if improperly attired--male or female--are asked to either put on a shirt or if the wording is inappropiate to cover/change. on our trip in august, i noticed a lot of what you mentioned--bras worn as "tops." my husband asked me how i could tell it was a bra and not a swimsuit top. i told him look at it!!!!!!!

It is out of control. Some of these teenage girls are dressing like ladies of the evening.

I saw one girl who looked about 13 in a shirt that has strings down the center all loose and open for the world to see, shorts Daisy Duke would have been embarassed to wear (and something written across the back), and big clunky heels. She could not have looked more like she belonged on the street if she'd tried...and she was WITH HER PARENTS!

It is beyond me why they'd let her dress that way.

No wonder these girls grow up to think underwear is appropriate in public.

That didn't shock us as much as the women in one peice bathing suits. One peice = bottoms only!!

Years ago I was the chairperson for an international Girl Scout event. We had to make VERY clear in our documentation what a one piece swimsuit meant in the US!

I am always amazed that the Disney film in France has no topless women. What did Disney do to make sure of this? (Trust me, I have been there and tops are not the norm espcially on thin well built women!)

We saw a goy once get off Kali and change right there in the path way. All the way down to some very skimpy, and "mis-placed" underwear. We could not belive that no one said anything but I bet he felt a lot better going back to the resort than we did. .

We were at IoA at Universal, when an entire family (I think there about 8 people) -- adults and children, got off the water ride and went to a picnic table where ALL OF THEM STRIPPED DOWN TO NOTHING! Of course, they were changing into dry clothes, but it would have been nice if they would have changed in the bathroom. I believe they were from Britian.

I didn't know how to respond to my DS, age 6 at the time, when he asked why everyone was getting naked? I didn't want to point and stare at them whilst I explained their state of undress to my child.

kid 'play fountain' at Epcot, leading to the WS - 3 year old boy and similar aged girl both naked running around.

The problems:

1 - pedophiles. 'nuff said
2 - health reasons. everyone knows kids urinate in pools (some parents probably do... hopefully not... anyway - that could contaminate the area
3 - kids have unprotected areas of the body that are now open to the grunge that exists, like it or not, even on the pavement of WDW.

For what it's worth... all ya need to do is bring a 'swim diaper' (tossable) or a swin suit and a plastic bag...

Oh, this threat reminds me of Cedar Point as well!
Have seen so many barely dress people going around after riding the water rides.
Thank goodness CP enforces a dress code passed certain areas of the water rides (which are all in the same area).
I've also enjoyed watching the men walk around in their speedos at the Disney Water Parks. I know it's the fashion in other parts of the world, but seeing rather large men in "weenie wraps" is gross. Along with rather large women in bikinis as well.

At visits to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach I saw what appeared to be European families think nothing of dropping their swim suits and changing right in the middle of everyone else. To make matters worse, no one says anything to them about it (not even me) so they continue to think that it is OK. But if they were to look around a little bit they would see that they are truly the minority in this and that no one else is doing this.

Maybe they should have a sign erected at the entrance of the water parks that says something about this. I know that I would feel a bit more comfortable about it.

I was going to start a "Fashion Tip" thread, but y'all beat me to it. We just got back and couldn't believe how many considered swim suits to be appropriate clothing.

Spandex is a privilege, not a right !

My two sisters, myself and my mother were sitting on a beach in a row at the wet sand edge watching the water and talking. From farther down the beach and jogging twards us was a not too out of shape older gentleman... well we all are kinda half watching him coming and talking.... and he gets closer... and were talking... and then hes passing in front of us and I think" wow his swimsuit is kinda small for an older man".........Well If you could see us in a row and as he is passing each one of us....You would see our jaws drop.... one right after the other, because as he got passed each one we saw he had on a thong..... and all you could see is his hairy behind shaking with every step he jogged.... Boy I wish I had a video of that......
....................Not of him .....of our faces...... it must have been a sight.
Everyplace has people who dont have the best judgment in things. Its not just Disney.
But they sure make life interesting!

I too have seen people change their clothes on the beach. Nope nobody says a thing because so where I guess that is normal.

We look over to see a guy bending over (imagine the scene) buck naked, changing into his underwear after swimming. My then 5 year old son laughed his guts out over that for years after.

I can't say that i was offended. more shockingly amused. however, if it had been my 5 year old daughter instead of my 5 year old son....OR....if it had been a woman changing her clothes....i would have been a bit peeved.

I had the pleasure of sitting across from a woman on Kali that had a very short skirt and no underpants on. Ordinarily this would not offend me (Hey I am a guy), but my 8YO DS was with me and proceded to ask me several embarassing questions, like Dad how come that ladies not wearing any underwear?
