Saw the Magic from the Wonder

Here's what I did...
Go to where you have uploaded the picture online and open it up. Then copy the url. Then go back to this email and click on the Reply to Post button (or whatever it says) and click on the button that says IMG (it's in the box next to where it says "vB Code" above "Your Reply"). A box will pop up and you will paste your url into the box and click OK. If you then try to Preview Reply, you should see your picture in the box. Hopefully I am telling you the right way to do it, I just learned how to do it the other day when someone was wanting to see a picture of the Disney Cruise scrapbook that I bought while onboard.

BTW-where's that trip report you guys were writing??? ;)

I hope Danny doesn't mind if I answer this one for him...
If he was on his verandah, he would have been on the starboard side of the ship. Not only were we tablemates, we also had rooms right down the hall from each other.

I would still like to see that pic of the Magic at night as she passed the Wonder.

Me too! Me too! I would love to see it. By the way, I gave you one incorrect instruction on inserting the image...after uploading the picture to the online service, you don't copy the URL, instead you right click on the picture and go to properties. When that opens up, you will see a different URL in the middle of the box. That is what you want to copy. This is what you will paste into the box after clicking the IMG box when replying (boy, now even I am totally confused...sorry). I didn't realize that I had told you the wrong thing until I tried to paste a picture of some Krispy Kreme donuts being loaded on the ship in another thread.

Holly ~ What thread has your Krispy Kreme picture? DS(8) would love to see it. He's planning on having at least one everyday on our upcoming cruise. :teeth:

My children compete in pageant and win a cruise on Carnival each year. We always see the Wonder in Port. Makes me so jealous. Late at night we can look out of our cabin window and see the Wonder in the distance as it passes us. A beautiful site.

Sailing on The Carnival Fantasy again July 1.

We finally get go on the Wonder this December for Christmas. I Can't wait. :D

Ohhhhhhh!!! I hope we get to see them passing in the evening. We sailed the Wonder last year and it would be soooo cool to see her sailing by from the Magic in Nov. About what time did you see the ship and were you starboard or port?

Well, I hope he isn't too disappointed, it isn't actually a picture of the Krispy Kreme donuts, it's a picture of them being loaded on the Wonder in Port Canaveral. All you can see is a bunch of Krispy Kreme boxes on a forklift. It's in a thread about Room Service tips, I think.

A few years ago I was on the Disney Wonder. My wife and I woke up a dawn to watch the Magic approach and dock next to our ship!
Two in one! Enjoy the pics!

That's great Mickey2000! Thanks for posting them. When and why would both ships be in Nassau at the same time? At least it looks like Nassau.

Both ships were in Nassau. They were having the crew from both ships compare their jobs and dutys...........?

love the night picure of the magic. cant wait to see the wonder from the magic on our cruise in nov

Just returned from 7 day eastern. On Saturday evening (embarkation), about 11 i think, we were traveling in view of a Carnival ship that left port canaveral about the same time. over an hour that ship veered away from us and another ship passed between us. my observant son insisted it was the wonder and after doing the math we realized the timing was right for an early sunday arrival at port canaveral. kind of cool and thought there would have been the ceremonial horn blowing but I guess that would have freaked out people settling in for the evening. I don't think there was a notation in the navigator so must be a private treat for those of us who actually think about these things!

What IS all of that bright stuff on the back of the Norwegian Dawn?

That is the T-Rex kids pool area. My son's favorite area on our cruise. We had a good time. Loved leaving out of NY since we could just drive to the port. Envious of Florida residents who have much more too choose from. Like the freestyle dining since we could eat whenever we wanted.

When we were in Nassau on NCL Dawn we got pictures of the Wonder from our balcony a couple of weeks ago. I had plan on going on a DCL next anyway, but that confirmed it.
