Yesterday I won tickets to a sneak preview tonight of The Hulk. I just got home a little while ago and I have to give the movie a big thumbs up.
Thankfully the CGI Hulk looked a lot better than earlier images we've seen, the movie flowed very well and didn't drag at all, and I don't think the casting could have been better.
What was interesting was the way the split screens and the transitions between scenes and camera angles were handled -- with an almost "comic book page on the big screen" look and feel to them. It was definitely a different technique not used in other comic book-based movies. I don't know if I would want to see this technique used all the time in movies, or used a lot in any movie, but it does add some to scenes where a lot is happening at once.
