...A rather interesting look into another culture. I'm not sure what I expected, but this wasn't it. It was interesting to see, a few good points (I loved their dragon character), a lot of things that to me were strange. Apparently a different kind of humor, too, since half the audience was laughing at things that I was going "huh?" over.

I did get to see the Treasure Planet trailer, though, and that looks good!

Was it in the vein of-if you saw it-Princess Mononoke? Every time I plan to see Spirited, it's sold out.

Sorta like Princess Mononoke, though I liked Princess Mononoke better actually. I rented that one and I just liked the setting and theme better.

Without giving away any of the details, it's basically a story of a girl who gets stuck at a vacation destination for the spirits, and no humans are allowed. It's the story of what she has to do to return to her world and save her parents, who are trapped.

Some of it just didn't make much sense to me, even though everything was in English. I think it was just a difference of culture and not knowing some of the mythology of Japan.

Aah-ok.

Thanks-I'll resist popping into this thread again so as not see any spoilers! :D
