Savingstar app issues….can anyone help me?

I just downloaded the app to use and have an item to claim. It says to scan the UPC but my iPhone isn't doing anything. I checked and the camera is enabled. Any idea what I need to do to fix this?

I get the scan markers with a red line through it. When I scan, nothing happens. The app does have access to the camera. I am trying to scan Cocoa Puffs cereal. Going to try again today.

If the app has access to the camera it should scan if you are connected to the internet (On your iPhone, if you go to Settings, Privacy, Camera, and SavingStar, you'll see an option to allow camera access to our app). Thanks, Josh

I am connected to the Internet & camera access is turned on but the UPC is not scanning.

iPhone6. No error just does nothing.

I uninstalled & reinstalled. Still won't work. Even had my daughter try in case I was doing something wrong but she couldn't get it either. I've decided to just delete it & not participate. Thank you for your help today.

Hi Michelle, I just heard from our engineering team that apparently some devices are experiencing an issue with scanning and we are releasing an update to the app today to fix this. If you install the app tomorrow, everything should work smoothly. I apologize for the inconvenience! -Josh
