Just a few questions… My 17 year old has a reservation for Monday at Savi’s for 8:25 am. How does the check in process work since his time is technically prior to the official opening of the park? What time should we arrive at the park to make sure he makes it there on time?

We were just there. Although we had a night one. I noticed on the line for Galaxies edge rope drop, There was a check in right after Indiana Jones I believe. Then they walk you up a back way. Someone else may have personal experience with the times. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the info! I’m wondering if there is somewhere at the gate to check in as well since his time slot starts pretty close to when the park opens. Maybe like when you have an ADR prior to park opening?

There’s a cast member directing people to galaxies edge. So if you get there at say 8, they may direct you right to the check in spot. Hope someone can chime in. It was fun. I did it with my 18 and 16 year old boys. They loved it. We did it at night and then did Oga’s. We had the Millennium Falcon all to ourselves for pics.

How did it end up working out? I'm in the same situation with my reservation, so curious what the current process is like if your reservation is before park open.

Bumping this as I have a similar, though slightly different, question. I'm going with a group of 10 people, four are doing the light saber build with reservations prior to the park opening. I know that each builder can have 1 observer and I assume they will be allowed into the park early with no issues however, as 2 of us won't be able to observe is it possible they'll let the remaining guests in to wait outside as they'll be seniors in wheelchairs? Or will 2 of us have to return to the front of the park to get them when the park opens to the public?
