Hi everyone!

I need some advice about if anyone did the save-the-date magnets?

If you did them, where did you get them from? How much did they cost?

Also, How did you mail them? Did you add an attachment card with any other information? My brain is not processing if I should add anything or just a card with our website or anything. :lmao:

Thanks in advance for all the help! I'm starting to research prices for the magnets so we can get them ordered earlier because MIL & FIL said they would pay so I need time to get the money from them before ordering!

Thanks! :) :goodvibes

We did save the date magnets. We got them from Impressions and they were fabulous. Not sure on the cost because we sent out so much at the time. We also sent out custom lanyards with a smaller save the date in the pouch, a pre-rsvp and our first newsletter. They were sent out in bubble mailers. Our guests loved them!!!

My fiance and I made our own save the date magnets. I saw in your picture at the bottom that your fiance is military, so is mine but Army =]

Anyway, what we did was order a few packets of printable magnets that were about index card size or a little bigger. I'm not sure what site we used, but I think we googled it and looked around to find the best ones. We simply used Microsoft Word and created a template to fit that size and print one by one on our printer. It was rather easy. After letting them dry we put them in envelopes by themselves and they got to each person perfectly fine.

Hope this helps!

I did magnets from Magnet Street. Here's what they looked like.

We got 75 magnets with envelopes, 75 enclosure cards, 75 return address labels & seals. The total shipped was 208.

The enclosure cards had info about the room block and how to reserve rooms, as well as our wedding website.

I think we may try this! I'm not sure how my printer will do with printing the Save-the-dates.

I'm actually planning on doing the Pass card (the key to the world things) a save the dates and just getting my own magnet strips to attach to the back.

I'm sending out some information on the hotel accomodations and our wedding website info but that's pretty much it. I'm not sure what else to include either since it's not officially the invite and RSVP.

That's a pretty cool idea!

I'm trying to figure out what we need to put on the enclosure card! I know that we will definitely put our website and probably a quick brief on why we chose Disney.

That's a nice idea too. I definitely think the website, hotel information (two or three options and contact numbers), and why you chose Disney would be a good combo. You could always put like a small lists of your favorite things they could check out, like if they wanted to have a dinner somewhere. And maybe include a contact of someone that wouldn't mind helping your guests if they have additional questions? You'll have enough going on, maybe a bridesmaid or family member. Someone who can help.

We ordered ours from vista print.. 250 for 10.00 and free 7 day shipping. They looked awesome! They included our picture, mini calendar, and website. We used a glue dot and attached them to our "airplane ticket" that had more info on it. If you'd like to just mail the magnet, vista print has several different sizes that you could put more info on it. We only got a business card size. I can't recommend them enough :)

got our at vista print really cheap

We ordered save the dates from magnetstreet... got 50 with envelopes and also made labels as well... all in all it was about $140. If you order samples from the website they send a coupon for 15% off your order. :-)

As far as info. goes, I've put everything on our wedding website (I used weddingwire.com). Hotel information, park information, tickets, how to buy everything through disney with our wedding discount, restaurant recommendations and tips for each park (along with harry potter park info b/c most of my friends love HP). It was a lot of work but I didn't want to risk putting it all on a piece of paper and them losing it.

Good luck!!! :goofy:
