Does anyone have a picture of their save the date cards? We are planning an escape wedding next year and I'm looking for inspiration!

I made mine.

a 5x7 card with a 4x6 photo on the front. this is the information I put on the back

I used vistaprint for my save the date postcards (100 for free and that is all I needed). I made them in photoshop with their template. I got the design from other save the date cards that I liked. Just sign up for their emails and each day you will get one and wait till they have the 100 free standard postcards and free photo upload. I only had to pay for shipping and just pay for the slowest shipping. It came in less than 2 weeks.

I did a message in a bottle as my save the date. I had our names and wedding date engraved on the bottle. Inside on the scroll was the information.

Vistaprint here too! lol They're magnets.. I got 10 free at a time and stockpiled for a little while. :rotfl:

We had postcards done on zazzle.com I had a coupon, which got me 100 for $69 (I think). I used one of our e-pics and put the text on it in Keynote (like Power Point for Macs). Then, I exported it as a .jpg, and uploaded the .jpg into Zazzle.com.

Mine aren't as nice as the others, but they were super easy to make! We just used powerpoint and bought photo paper!

Here is the save the date we sent for our 'home' reception:

We wanted to keep the Disney theme fairly subtle because they aren't being invited to the actual wedding in Florida :rotfl:

I haven't gotten to that point in my life yet, but hopefully sometime in the near future, but I have been playing around with some designs since I love to plan wedding stuff and I have came up with a lot of ideas, but I don't know how to upload a picture onto my post, any help???

What product did you use to make your SaveTDs on zazzle.com? I'm going to make mine once the engagement photos come in so I'm price hunting. Is yours a magnet? Post Card? Other?

Mine will not be Disney-fied. Sadness, I know... ;)

I took one of our e-pics and put it on a slide in Keynote (like Power Point, but for Macs). Then, I added the text I wanted. Then, I exported the whole thing as a .jpg (the slide). I went to zazzle.com and started creating a post card. I added that "picture" and wrote what I wanted on the back. Mine were just normal post cards. I had a coupon, where I got 100 for $69 or something like that.

Hmm...sounds trickier than I was anticipating. Thank you anyway!

I thought snapfish.com had a feature where you can add text to any photo but it doesn't appear so unless I don't know where to look on the website. Any ideas everyone?

You can add text on photobucket.
Or Vista print lets you add text and they also have templates with text and photos.
