Somewhere I saw a picture of someone who did a photo card with the wedding info printed over the picture. Does anyone remember and have a link?

We are having a small wedding-2 couples, 2 girl friends and our moms. It seems most of the invitations I have seen come in such a large number and we would be wasting a lot.

What did you do if you had a small wedding?

thanks

Check out vista print for the photocards, you can personalize them and the minimum is 10 and the prices are usually pretty inexpensive for the save the dates. I know someone used magnets like what you are talking about, not sure what the think is though. You could get magnet paper and make little business card design in word, or photoshop then attach them to a piece of cardstock so they look nice out of the envelope. You can always make things yourself. If you need design help, I helped another bride on here design her invitations as well.

For your invites at places like cardsandpockets.com and paperandmore.com you can order "samples" and get the amount you need, I got my paper from paperandmore and it is great quality.

You might want to check out etsy.com as well, the seller might be willing to work with you.

I hope that is helpful, if I can find the link to that other site, I will post it for you.

LLBelle-thanks for the links. I may take you up on the offer to help with the invitations.

Well I know some people will think this is tacky but I came up with an idea for my save the date "card". I am doing the personalized m & m's. We will have hot pink, orange & teal (but the don't print on teal, it will just add color to the mix). I have 3 sayings (save the date, the actual date, and our names). I wanted something unique and had been trying to think about how to add the personalized m & m's to our wedding. What do you think I should package them in?

I will also be sending along Florida/Disney travel books as all the guests have only made 1 trip to Disney. I would like to send along maybe one or two more items. This will go out to 4 families with a total of 8 kids. Our moms will just get m & m's. I have heard of some Orlando book with coupons maybe I could send that as 3 of the families are staying off of Disney.

Thanks for your help.

I have just sign up on her website and her prices are very resonable, especially since we are having a small wedding, only 25 guests.:cool1:

I am glad you guys found it helpful. She is really nice and helpful to work with to. Here are my invites she made for me.

Love the M&M Save the Date idea. We used these at our wedding. Our colors were red, white and black. Here is a photo of them:

We put them in this heart shapped tin I purchased at Michael's.

We are having a (very) small Escape wedding so I only needed about 9 invites. I bought 40 plain balck and white Brides invites on sale at Micheals and have printed both my invites and info cards on them:

I think it worked out really well. I added the stickers and crowns and Mickey hats myself (obviously) after I printed them (very easily I might add) on my printer at home.

Thanks everyone for your ideas.
