Early Entry Ending at DLR

Ah wow, I thought it was a whole Multipass for the day, I can now see it's been clarifies it's one attraction entry for the whole stay. It is really really stingy.
It would make some sort of sense if it's one per day, but one per stay is so much worst than the current perk.

Make a LL that works on any ride (including Rise/Radiator Springs) and I’ll listen…. But the closing of the Pixar Place Entrance is a devastating blow for most VGC owners….
I haven’t visited VGC or DL yet so not familiar with the layout, why would closing Pixar Place entrance be so detrimental to VGC owners?

Pixar Place Entrance went right past the back of VGC where the DVC section is. We used it a few times if we were in Pixar Pier finishing up our day (was also nice after World of Color to exit there) - we actually went that way when we stayed at the DL hotel versus following the herd of cattle heading to the front entrance to exit.

I could see it if each guest got one LL per day of their stay. Heck, I'd prefer that at WDW. But just one for the entire length of stay is a big downgrade if you're a rope dropper.

It’s the cash side they need to worry about… they just transferred hundreds of more guests every morning into those two security hallways…. not exactly a $1k/ night hotel room experience….
Going to be icky, not sure how everyone is going to fit. If Disney was smart..... they'd keep Paradise Pier entrance open like they are now. Just park open to noon. Clear up some of that congestion. I bet even more people would use that entrance come 1/6/26 since early entry will not exist and you can actually do rides on that side of the park. No one comes through that gate because who wants to waste their early entry time walking allllllll the way to the other side for the early entry offerings? I know I didn't lol

I do because my youngest and I will ride Goofy’s 2-3x and then Silly Swings 5x…. those are some of my favorite mornings….

I had no idea those were open for early entry
JK I see you meant for park opening! I love Silly Swings, cannot wait until my boys are tall enough!

Because we're in the DVC section, let's compare the perks of staying on-property in DVC (Deluxe) between DLR and WDW. Some of these perks may also apply to those staying in Values & Moderates.

ETPE - At all 4 WDW parks, but a subset of rides at MK, EPCOT, and DAK
ETPE - Alternating days between DL and DCA, and a subset of rides at each. Perk going away!

EEH - At WDW, usually twice a week for those staying at Deluxe
EEH - At DLR, parks are open late for everybody

ADRs - At WDW, can book 60 days in advance and up to +10 days based on stay length
ADRs - At DLR, can book 60 days in advance

LLMP - At WDW, can make 3 selections 7 days in advance + stay length
LLMP - At DLR, can make selections after entering park; advantage to those who entered during ETPE, but that advantage is going away

The replacement perk of getting 1 selection of a single LLMP ride really isn't that meaningful for those who buy LLMP.

Did I forget anything? What are the remaining perks of staying onsite in DLR?

Supposedly they "save" some dining reservations for hotel guests at DLR, not sure how true this is though.
