Savannah room at AKL

Was wondering if you could request the Arusha Savannah room when you called to make reservations? Can anyone tell me?

I think you can request it but know that there are no guarantees...you can always ask again at check in if that is not where they put you...

I should say YES you can definetly request a specific Savannah and general area that you want to be in (near lobby vs farther down the hall). Requests are not guaranteed.

We stayed there in May and I had it noted on my reservation and I faxed a request for 3rd or 4th floor facing the Arusha Savannah.

I didn't say anything at check-in and when we got our room later in the day we had 3rd floor facing Arusha.

In May, we requested and got Arusha savannah along Zebra Trail.

We have requested Arusha a couple of times and got it. IMHO I would go ahead and request, but like others have said, it is not guaranteed. Really I think most of the Savannah views would be OK.

Be sure to go our at night. I love it when the night lights are on and everything is quiet and you can hear the animals munching!!!
