We are in the market for a new car, so I've been researching CUVs and SUVs. I really like everything about the Saturn Outlook. Does anyone have one? Just looking for some feedback about it or Saturns in general.

Thanks!

When you ask about car feedback, you have to go in understanding that there will be someone who won't like what you are looking at and the someone will have had the worst experience from hell. No car maker exists that is perfect.

With that caveat....

I LOVE Saturns. If I wasn't still paying a no interest loan on my Relay, I'd be getting myself an Outlook in a heartbeat.

My DH drives a 2000 SL2. No problems, just regular maintenance. We had a 1997 SL1 before that. I was T-boned by someone going 45MPH with my then 3 and 4 year olds in that car. We all walked away. Nothing penetrated the vehicle. That is a big reason why I am a big believer in Saturn.

I have a 2005 Saturn Relay. While I really do love it, great crossover with lots of features, the Outlook will most likely be my next car, if that model is still around.

I suggested an Outlook to my wife back in April, and while we were at Epcot they had one in the Test Track building. We went to the dealership the week after we got home, and ended up getting one for her.

She loves it! She didn't want another mini van, but didn't want to give up the passenger space. The Outlook seats eight. She gets compliments on it all the time. It's a six cylinder, so it's fairly decent on gas. It comes in front wheel, or all-wheel drive.

We've had 3 (one was totaled). We are planning to buy a Hybrid Vue in (hopefully) 2009.

We LOVE them. I would never buy the first model year of a vehicle though. There are almost always issues.

I love my Relay. It's the slidey doors - makes picking up and dropping off kids super super easy.

And we are a Saturn family going on about 15 years now. We've always been happy. Even while shopping around for the Relay - the Saturn dealership bent over backwards and then some for us, while some of the other dealerships just gave me nightmares!

Good luck!

We have two Saturns -- a 2007 Saturn Vue and a 2003 Saturn Ion - LOVE our Saturns!

I think the Outlooks are beautiful!

I have a 2006 Vue and really like it.

I have used the service department at the dealer for regular maintenace and love their service. I also had a problem with the car not starting due to a computer problem. They towed it in free, offered a rental car, and had it fixed by the next day.

I will definitely look at Saturns the next time I shop for a car.

We're Saturn people too. We've bought 4 or 5 of them (me, DW, and DDs).
We're very pleased with them, and the service people are nice. We're kinda looking at the hybrid Aura--Verrrry nice.:)

I've been thinking of buying a Saturn Outlook. I realize that Saturn dealerships are "no haggle". But, they want the full MSRP less the $2,500 rebate for a 2008. Does this seem reasonable?:confused3
