Saturdays in early June

We are planning our 1st trip to Disneyland for next summer! How crowded are the parks on weekends in early June? Thinking about arriving Thursday night and doing parks Fri, Sat, Sun and Monday. Am I crazy to schedule our trip over a weekend? Thanks so much!

As someone pointed out on another thread about crowds, with demand pricing, we don't know how crowds will shift. Will there be another So Cal offer next year? In the past the tickets have been good into June. Last summer people still had premium APs. By next summer, many may have dropped down due to the higher price for signature. The summer before that the 60th was incredibly popular. There may be another annual promotion that debuts and is very popular. The best way to plan is around hotel and flight availability and take the park days as they are. Generally if you mix weekdays and weekends that's a good plan, but you might be better of shifting it to Sat-Tues for a better mix, if the travel costs work out.

The first few weeks of June have been very nice in the past two years. The crowds have been very manageable.
