Mmmmmm pass those cookies over here quandrea they look delicious!!
Daughter in law is bringing me red velvet /cream cheese cake in a few hours ,,just in time for afternoon tea.

I am doing paperwork right now too TammyLynn,,,our Board of Education was cyber attacked 2 weeks ago,,, system is still not up and running. I NEED that T4 slip to do may taxes ,,darn idiots that do crap like this drive me crazy.

Go to your CRA account (if you have one set up) and the information will be there so you can complete your taxes. Unless of course the board hasn't sent it to the CRA yet.

Can't file your taxes until Feb 22 this year (electronically, which I'd suggest this year as it will be faster, no idea how long paper will take with social distancing to be enforced in the tax centres, normally they pack those people in but can't this year). I'm still waiting for the free software I use to get updated to include the simplified work from home credit. I don't want to waste part of my refund paying to get my taxes done.

So e-filing has to wait till Feb 22 this year?

I don't do mine I just send it via fax to my accountant who then e-files for me.

Right, no filing until Feb 22. E-filing or Netfiling.

T4 slips must be filed by the employer by the end of February, unless it's a weekend then it's the next day, so March 1st this year.

Well fingers crossed that they are able to fix the system ,,for the past two pay periods they have communicated thru a back door that yes you are getting paid.
Friday I was supposed to be in training all morning but couldn't get into system.
We are still accessing our online classrooms via a backdoor way too.
IEPs and Reports cards had to be redone as they went *Poof* disappeared.
Lots of wasted time and energy.... and possible worry that our information has been compromised even though they says they don't think so. Tons of frustration.

That doesn't sound like any fun! I'm sure they will fine a way to give you your T4 slip, to not do it they face penalties and fees to CRA, which I'm sure they don't want to spend.
