Saturday before Thanksgiving Availability

Hi there, we are currently trying to book a trip the week before Thanksgiving. I am not having any luck with the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Is this generally a sold out date? I have a waitlist in. I was able to book all the other days at my 7 month mark. This is my daughter's graduation gift to go to Hawaii, so really hoping to make this happen with points and not paying $1000 for one night. Thank you!

What type of room are you trying to book? For the best chances, I would make sure the view type is island garden or ocean and request any room type besides a lock-off.

It is a popular date. Lots of locals will get rooms for a night or two on weekends.

I checked every room type and nothing is available.

Good to know. I guess I figured it was the week before Thanksgiving that it would be less busy than the week of Thanksgiving. I will just keep checking back and hope my waitlist comes through.

I’m just saying make sure your waitlist has the best chance of filling by making sure it isn’t a standard or pool view (there are fewer of those room types). A lock-off will also be harder to fill because a one bedroom and a studio have to become available at the same time. I had a waitlist come through for that Saturday that was put in right at 7 months.

If you put in a single night request for an ocean or island view, I think you are likely to get it! Good luck!
