Satuli Canteen-Base & Sauce

What are the base & sauce choices for the bowls?
Moliphino already answered that - I will add that my base of choice is the potato hash :-)
But what I really wanted to let you know is that, if you are curious about menus for any place that has mobile order, you can go into the order food section of the app and see the options even if you aren't actually placing an order.

ETA- Sat'uli canteen (along with some other QS) is (ETA sometimes) mobile order ONLY. Best to check for available time windows (and order) BEFORE you actually head there. (ETA during mobile order only times they likely will have ways to handle people that have special reasons why they can't mobile order.)

big fan of the lettuce or noodles as the base and the onion or ranch dressing.
A must do every trip.

Thanks to all! DD & I want the cheeseburger pods. DH is picky, so I needed to know options for him. Since there is a "no sauce" option, we should be good. He does take care of all of the mobile ordering for us!

Everything I've had at Satuli over the years has been great, but the chicken/beef combo with potato hash and herb sauce is amazing!
This is my favorite as well. We liked it so much the first time we visited Pandora that we had it for lunch and then AGAIN for dinner that same day. ;)

I've tried all the bases and even some that are no longer on the menu .... I stick with the salad. All the sauces are good but really depends on the temps outside, the mood I'm in but I get the creamy herb sauce the most - sits better.

For a picky eater look at the kids' meal hot dog. Us adults get them all the time. Large hot dog wrapped in light dough, light homemade potato chips, side of fruit and drink. We get the bottle of water to take with us and order a drink to use there since you get refills. That kids meal is about half the cost too.

I have a question about the sweet potato hash base. Actually it's both sweet and red potatoes. How much does the sweet potato flavor come through? I LOVE sweet potatoes, but somehow I've never been able to try this. I just don't want to be disappointed if it doesn't taste too "sweet potatoey".

Flavor wise it definitely is a mix- you do taste the regular potato, not just the sweet potato.

I like sweet potatoes so not sure it would stand out to me but it was very good. My issue with it ... it is very heavy. Once you top it, too much food for me.

In January my #2 adult son went with us to WDW. It was his first trip in 4 years so there was lots to see and do. When I asked him what was the one thing he wanted to do on this trip his response was to eat at Sat'uli Canteen. Forget Rise or Remy, just eat.

It is not mobile order only. I was just there two weeks ago. I had to use a meal voucher, so mobile order was not an option.

Every quick service location I visited (Pecos Bill, Backlot, Flame Tree, Rosie's) had one ordering station open. Yes, the lines were long, but I wasn't about to pay for my meals when on a school trip. I'm cheap.

Glad you chimed in...must be crowd/season (or special situation) dependent. When we were there during Spring Break (ETA April 2022) they were mobile order only. They wouldn't let people past if they didn't show an "order ready" screen. There was a big "Mobile Order Only" sign and I saw them turn people away.

That was the norm when the parks reopened, too. I was there on July 11, 2020.

At the time, we had Tables in Wonderland. That allowed discounts at a handful of quick service locations. When I explained to the CMs that I could not use the TiW discount in the app, they had a manager take my order at a kiosk.

The request worked at every location. Guests just need to explain why they can't use the app.

Love the red sweet potato hash with the black bean vinaigrette. Now I am super hungry 😂 Last week you could still walk inside and order if you wanted to. You just have to push the issue with the cast member outside and they will let you in.
