Satellite view of Kidani?

Recently I saw an updated satellite view of AKL/AKV that included Kidani Village. Did anybody else see it and save the link?

From what I've seen...

Mapquest has the most up to date pictures

Google Maps and Bing's pictures are older (for instance, google and bing still has the wing in their pictures where BLT currently stands) but the thing I really like about Bing...you can switch from Aerial to Birds Eye view, and they have terrific pictures at that level (albeit older)

For many areas. Our home is in a new community that is 4 years old. On Google Maps it only shows 4 of the the 68 houses in our immediate neighborhood. Mapquest shows all of the houses. It had our address labeled as three houses down and in the middle of the street, but hey you can't have everything.

Google Maps and Bing's pictures are older (for instance, google and bing still has the wing in their pictures where BLT currently stands) but the thing I really like about Bing...you can switch from Aerial to Birds Eye view, and they have terrific pictures at that level (albeit older)

I just checked out Bing maps, it kept wanting directions from A to B. I couldn't find a way to just map a specific address.

OK, expert. We are staying hopefully at Kidani village this coming Oct. Question: The map looks like there is a walking path on the inside part of the village to Jambo house, is this right? We walked the outside(parking lot side) when we checked it out the last time we were there and it was quite a long walk. The inside walk, if there is one would be more enjoyable. Thanks in advance..smjj

There is definately no walking path on the Savannah side that goes from Kidani to Jambo. What you are seeing is a trail for the cast members helping maintain the savannah.

Just a note the satellite view you are viewing is still pretty outdated, you can see in the image that Kidani is still under construction in the image, so some things look different then you see.

The main reason I wanted to see the satellite image is that I heard that there are two GVs that face the Pembe Savanna. One of them is the Standard View GV that has appeared in the 2011 point chart. I wanted to see if I could locate them in the satellite image and you can in fact see both of them. You can pick them out by the roof overhang.

Sorry a little OT-

DH says that he thinks that the mapquest photo shows a side profile hidden Mickey with Kidani being the ears. I just don't see it. Has the Disney addiction just gotten to his subconcious an now any thing with semi-circles looks like a hidden Mickey?

I'll admit that I have seen Mickeys in the everyday world when they were just parts of circle patterns but I think he is going off the deep end.

I could see where you could make out one, but it's sort of a stretch to say it's really in the shape of a Mickey head. It would be more of an Abstract Hidden Mickey if anything.
