Driving for the first time in the US. Confident about the experience, but would like to know if cars are equipped with Satellite Navigation systems much like Tom-Tom.

Travlling with Virgin in Feb using their car hire partner.

TIA

We rented with Dollar this year. Sat-nav wasn't standard on the Chrysler Town & Country we had (although a DVD player was - bonus!). However, there were sat-nav sytstems available to rent from the desk - as far as I recall, it was $25 per day.

Maybe have a look at the website of whoever the company is, and see whether you have to rent, or whether any of the vehicles have it as standard.

Yes, most of the major car hire companies have cars equipped with a sat nav system at an extra charge, but you should not need it for the Orlando area, the roads are well signposted and err, straight :-) :-)
