Sat. 11/20 for 5 nights????

We just came back from 8 nights at WDW (offsite) and DH, knowing how much I want to see the holiday lights, JUST said to check into possibly staying the above dates.

My first choice would be FW - any type of accommodation- I haven't made any calls yet. Any chance of me finding any availability at FW - even renting a tent???? (crossing fingers)

And, if you can snag a site at the Fort and so desire, I'll let you use my tent!!

(I think my husband would die to know I just said that ) I live on the other side of Baton Rouge. It would mean you'd have to drive, but we love to be able to take our bikes so we choose to drive!! Also, I'm not sure you'd want to rent the tents that the fort offers.

However, you could rent the popup or 5th wheel offered by two other DISboard members.

Just an offer from one LSU fan and mom of 4 to another!!

We're going to be at the fort from 11/18 until 11/27.
I'll have my green ears out along with our LSU chairs. Hoping to be in the 1400 loop. Look for us if you get reservations.

DH said I could go by myself!!!

I wonder if anybody would let me pitch a tent in the back of their site? I'll bring my own air mattress and won't bother anyone.... I'll even park my rental car in the front parking lot. I'll even pay for a spot..... I'll just be there to sleep.

Wonder if that will work?

Keep trying. Or get a dreamsunlimited travel agent to try for you. There is an advertisement banner on this website somewhere. And don't think a campsite is too small of a reservation for them to handle. They did it for me and book fort reservations for others on here too.

That's funny about the idea of pitching a tent behind another camper! There was actually a very entertaining thread on here about someone that wanted to do just that. (Hint: it didn't go over real big!)
