Good afternoon, ladies! Becca, Angie and Bonnie - I love the pictures! Angie - did you bleach your fingers after handling the cheese? It seems inherently dangerous to grasp uninvited cheese - you have no idea where it has been. Perhaps, though, it was a "welcome to Chicago" gift for you all? The world wide web has been rife with stories of ya'll's love of cheese, you know. Could be that they were just trying to be friendly.

I am quite intrigued by the Injection Fairy. Was she injecting something good? I shall have to research this further. There are days when knowing such a spirit might come in handy.

Judi - you aren't crazy - many people self absorbed narrow-minded idiots. Tell them I said so.

Tricia - ready for the summer?

Becca - did the boys survive your absence? Did Chet?

Bonnie - have you ever tried the Strasburg sock for your foot? It works wonders, especially if I use it after long periods of walking. Google it - it's worth it.

Heather - glad to see that things at home are improving!

Wicked was most excellent! I don't think there were any originals in it though. Have you seen it before? I want to see it again. Yes, Judi will be going next time even if I have to drive up to her house, gag her and throw her in my trunk.

There were some freaky anime peeps walking around and Bonnie was hooting at them from the car window! The injection fairy was the best costume I saw personally, some of them were kind of scary!

The boys were fine without me, although Brendan called me when I was driving out of Chicago and told me he was going to talk to me all the way home. He was mighty clingy when I got home, Justin wanted his loot and then he was on his way.

I must say the invalid with the sprained ankle last week had no foot problems. I was happy, but sad my traveling buddies had sore feet. I could have walked much more, but we had no reason too.

I hope the rest of the day goes better than my morning started out. I went to the garage (like I do every morning) to get water and capri sun out the the fridge for the kids lunch. When I opened the door a gallon of milk fell out and busted. Milk all over me, the ground, splashed all over my SUV. So I hosed the garage this morning and I might add that milk in abundance smells.

So you SASSy ladies, what's up today?

Judi you don't leave until this evening, right?

Heather we miss you and please tell Kate we are proud of her.

Thank goodness it was in the garage and not the house. I have the garage door opened so hopefully the air will help with the smell. If by this afternoon it still stinks in there I'll break out the vinegar. Thanks for that tip.

I just spoke to Judi, she said they made the first incision at 7:45 and so far so good. It's going to be about a 5 hour surgery as long as all goes as planned. She'll keep us informed as she can.

Kimmy, Judi says she's thinking about you today. She wanted me to make sure to let you know that!

Heather, I hope everyone is feeling lots better! Get your house clean so we can chat soon!

Tricia, what a way to start the morning! Thank goodness it's in the garage, although with your high temps it would probably start really stinking fast! Hope its all cleaned up and you won't have to deal with that.
