Julie, I have questions about said waterbed, but none are family friendly. Except, when one of you gets up does it wake up the other? We are the educational thread after all and I have never had a waterbed.

Tricia, I meant to ask you this earlier and it slipped my mind! How is WW going? I haven't seen an update recently.

I took the boys to swim at Gun Lake, its where I grew up and my grandma lives on the lake still. They had a blast and then Grandma the Great took us out for ice cream. She's the best!

Tricia, where does Kelsie work and what does she do?

Kelsie works at our local park where Colin plays ball. She works in the concession stand. This week is a World Series Tournament from teams all over the state.

Good morning Sassys! I'm happy to report the air conditioner is off! I woke up to a wonderful 61 degrees and its only supposed to get up to 75ish so no air for a few days! I complain about the cold and now I'm complaining about the heat. Where can I live that is 65-70 all year round?



Tricia, is Kelsie stashing her funds or is she spending them? Have a great day!

Oh how I wish I could turn my air off. We use it about nine months out of the year.

Kelsie saves half of her check in savings and the other half she can spend how she likes. Surprisingly she still has money left from getting paid two weeks ago.

Tricia, I meant to ask you this earlier and it slipped my mind! How is WW going? I haven't seen an update recently.

I'm holding my own over here but it's just so hard with the kids being home in the summer. We are always on the go so much. I'm still exercising every day in my beautiful workout dress

and I'm maintaining my 26 pound loss. When school starts back next month I'm going to rejoin WW. I had to stop going to the meetings because it conflicted with Kendall's cheer practice.

Judi I must have missed the post about the bad morning you had. Hang in there my friend. Bonnie I also think it's a wonderful thing you are doing with the angel network.

I just posted a new thread asking if you are supposed to tip the dog groomer. Anybody know? I never have before but now I'm wondering if I am one of those cheapskates the hairdressers complain about!

Good morning Sassy lassies! Whats going on today? The boys have a swim meet this evening and swim practice this morning. Swimming is the order of the day I guess!

Judi, I love the thirsty Thursday beverage. I'll have a few later please.

Tricia, it is hard dieting in the summer. I have been doing okay, but with the boys home we are going out for ice cream way too much.

Bonnie, I think you do tip your dog groomer. I could be wrong, but I think it would be like tipping your hairdresser. Although I probably wouldn't tip them as much. But I really don't know since Speck has short hair and doesn't need grooming.

Bonnie the old dog groomer I used I always tipped. I'm not sure why but I did. Maybe because I paid by check and I just added extra. The new place I go to I don't tip because I pay with a credit card (Disney ~ got to get those points) and it comes out with the total to sign and doesn't have a place for a tip like when eating in a restuarant where there is a tip line for you to add extra. I do bring them a gift at Christmas.

I hope that excuses me. The first place was also at a business so she had overhead. The lady I go to now works out of her house.

Hello, ladies! Sorry I have been so absent lately - I have been trying to keep Barney busy and help him work through this grieving thing. Also, Linus's fuzzy body used to be my footrest at the computer so it was sad to sit here without him.

I'm not going to be here much for the next few days because we are off to North Carolina for swim championships bright and early tomorrow am - a break from the house that Barney and I really need. BamBam is doing okay with this whole deal - he has decided he wants a "meantime fish", which I have been told is a pet that you get in the meantime while waiting for a new doggy friend to arrive. Mr. FofP is having a hard time.

Are Bonnie and I the only zit poppers around here? What is wrong with you all? There is great satisfaction to popping a giant zit and getting that gross stuff out. Better out than in, I say.

Wilma. It is so hard to lose our pets. I know I had a real hard time last year when I lost my little dog. I still miss her, even though we now have Jasmine to keep me company. Are you going to start looking for a new friend soon or wait a little while?

Wilma, good to hear from you. I think a "meantime pet" is a great idea and a fish is perfectly appropriate. Kids are so resilient and amazing, even though they are hurting they find ways to make the adults in their lives feel better.

Bonnie, I can't see our nasty you tube video. I think I'm glad of that, although I could not help but look.

Wilma~I'm sorry for what your family is going through. Just remember, all of us have gone through the loss of a pet and are here if you need us.

Bonnie~I am a zit popper, too. I love getting all that gook out of there, but I can't STAND to pop someone else's zits. Mr. Angie gets zits on his back sometimes and wants me to pop them. Um...no. Puke cough. Can't help you with the tipping question-Mr. Angie is our official dog groomer and I ain't tipping him.

Becca~long time no MSN hag! I guess I missed ya the other night-bummer. Seen any dogs poop in an airport recently??

Judi~glad mom had a good night. Maybe it's all those endorphins from her excitement over her new pen pal!

Hey hags! It's 2:15am and we just returned home from the movies!! 12:01 showing of Journey to the Center of the Earth 3-D. It was really enjoyable. Okay the storyline is choppy but the 3-D effects were EXCELLENT! Me, Brent, Heather and Branson (my brother) went. We were all riveted.

So you know tomorrow I'm gonna be stinkin' tired at work, but hey, it's only for 3 hours! Poor bubba has to work all day.

Happy Friday Sassys! Its hot, hot, hot here today almost 90. For us thats hot! Needless to say, the air is back on.

Bonnie, we are going to see that movie this evening at an earlier time. I can't do midnight movies any longer. I'm old you know. Hope you get a nap later!

Judi, is it hot up there too? I may need to come up for some relief this weekend. Surely someone else will paint the shed for me right?
