I'm at work and BORED!! I have stuff to do-I just don't wanna do it!!

I'm having Olympics withdrawals. I was so bored last night. It was fun to always have something different to watch. 2 more years is too long! Actually it's 18 months, but still...Does anyone know if we won any equestrian medals?

Thanks for the support Judi and Wilma! My DH is really worried about the whole pain pill addiction thing, but I just don't think one pill a day is that bad. Plus I think taking it at night so I can get some sleep is important. You just don't function well if you're not sleeping well night after night.

Oh and Wilma I will look for any partially hidden checker sets when I finally go for my shots. If I find one I may threaten to expose him to the Council for the Prevention of Doctoral Checker Abuse. Landscaping sounds fun to me-I love plants but sadly have a brown thumb! Embroidery? Seriously?

Let's see...Labor day weekend we will be "up" north in Mi. We have to sell our place up there as it is getting too hard to keep both places. Also there is a hugh arts and crafts show there and I will be going and maybe spend a few $$$$.
Do you know what my handy DH did, he made me a swing for our back yard. Then he told me " see it is holding me , you try". Well...I have a big old bruise on my tushy and another on my arm. I just hope the neighbors wern't watching or we will be on America's most funniest jerks.DH has to have catarac surgery on Thurs but he isn't scared. Now I would be watching something come at my eyes. But they give him an iv to keep him calm. Shirley

Let's see..............Labor Day plans? I hope to not be evacuating from Hurricane Gustave. Yes I'm getting a little nervous here. I know it's still days away but with the whole Katrina thing bringing back all those memories let's just say I'm a little scared.

Good evening Sassies! Someone has leaked lots of chapters of Midnight Sun so I've been reading that a lot. I hoped it would make me feel better about Breaking Dawn and it has. I expect this book to be so excellent!

Shirley, sorry Danny still isn't cooperating. Its hard not to worry and I'm sure its on your mind a lot. Too bad you have to sell your up north house, but it is a lot of work keeping 2 places up.

Angie, I agree about the addiction. Not going to happen for you! I don't like to take pain meds either, but let me tell you if you need them you need them. Go find the released chapters of Midnight Sun it should redeem Stephenie Meyer to you a bit.

I am with you, Tricia. I always get nervous when storms head to the Gulf. Scott has off tomorrow and we are going to trim down all our boards so I can put them on the windows if necessary. 2005 was such a bad year for so many people because of hurricanes. All we can do now is prepare for the worst and pray for the best.

Not really ear problems, just q tip aversion. I hate sticking those things in the boys ears. Even though I try not to stick them in far, I'm worried they will turn their head and I will break their ears!
