My son has recently moved to Saskatoon and is trying to find gnocchi in a grocery store.

He asked a store manager at Sobey's and the manager had never heard of gnocchi.

Can anyone tell me where he might find it?

Thank you
Lynda

I don't currently live there, but I used to. He might want to try the Superstore. There's another place called "Aniello's Pasta Supreme" that used to be open there (not sure if it still is). I think it could be purchased there. Hope this helps.

He might have to settle for perogies.:thumbsup2

Saskatoon must have a fresh pasta store.

1. Bulk Cheese warehouse on Broadway - specialty foods store that should have it, or be able to point him in the right direction.
2. Superstore on 8th Street - has a huge fresh pasta selection
3. Safeway in the Circle Centre Mall - best selection of foods in the Safeway's in town.

4. Send him a reciepe, it's way better to make them!

I told him Disboards would come through :woohoo:

I did suggest he make them. I'll see if he asks for a recipe.

Thank you everyone!

Absolutely go to the Bulk Cheese Warehouse on Broadway! They have a deal where you buy pasta and get the pasta sauce free.. not sure what day though! And the smoked gouda is to die for!!

A friend on mine makes his from scratch. He says it's easy....but he is Italian. :lovestruc

All the suggestions have been passed on to my son.

Thanks again!
